HAPPY ADOPTION TAILS Celebrating Remington It was love at first sight for Emily and Ira Nieman. As soon as they walked into the Center and saw Remington, they knew he was the dog for them. “We are grateful and blessed to have adopted Remi,” Emily said. “He has changed our lives forever!” Remi was a shy and sweet dog while at the Center, always patiently waiting for his forever family to come find him. Now Remi is enjoying the good life with lots of fetch, long walks and fun car rides. He loves his family and human sibling - but his best friend is his fur-sister, Riley. “We love his personality, smarts and of course his good looks. We can’t thank you enough for allowing him to become a part of our family!” Remi enjoys long walks & playing fetch. Celebrating Sami & Amos One of our own volunteers, Sherry Kauffman, knows first hand how hard it is to NOT want to adopt every animal that comes through our doors. Sami loves running up & down “I was hoping to downsize, actually,” Sherry laughed. “But I ended up adopting two cats the halls and within a few months of each other!” being mischevious. First, Sherry adopted Midnight (now Amos) who was a sweet and mellow cat and lonely after his brother was adopted without him. Then, there was young and mischevious Chester (now Sami) whose energy has definitely brought some liveliness into Sherry’s home. Even though Sherry was worried about having a kitten in the home, she just couldn’t walk away from him. She had already gotten to know him while volunteering in the cat room. “Sami would just run up our clothes and make us all laugh. I was hoping he’d get adopted but nobody ever came for him...so I did!” Sami and Amos now enjoy a warm and social lifestyle and love having such good companions in both the human and feline variety! Life is Great. Amos enjoys relaxing & naps! Pets Make It Better.
