We knew fall colors were going to be our colors.” Brooke wanted a country rustic wedding. “My wedding vision, I knew, was going to be a dream come true because growing up and going to my grandpa’s farm, I knew I wanted to have a country wedding and get married in a barn,” Brooke said. “That was my all-time dream wedding. Everything else, I knew, would fall into place. And it did.” They found both the rustic theme and barn at Red Oak Valley on Highway 19 outside of Owensville. Then I put on the fifth dress and felt like it could be the one. I walk out of the room not fully looking into the mirror yet. I look over at my mom and best friend and they are both crying.” The beautiful ballgown style flowed gently around her, coming to a V in the back. “I didn’t like the ballgown slip underneath and without that, it was the perfect amount of material and fluff,” she said about her dream dress. “My dress was this beautiful lace dress with sparkles on top.” The seamstress added a beaded belt in the middle to break up the sparkle. As the time for the wedding drew nearer, Booke loaded her girls up in a hay wagon attached to her dad’s John Deere 60 to travel from the farmhouse to the barn. “My bridesmaids were on a trailer behind the tractor and my dad standing on the back of the tractor while I am driving (was one of my favorite moments),” Brooke said.
