Nipple-areola tattooing restores colour to the areola (the area around the nipple) to help achieve symmetry
and a more natural result – this is commonly used for ladies who are finishing their reconstruction pathway post
mastectomy.
WHY SH O U L D I H AV E N I P P L E- AR E OLA TATTOO?
The choice to have nipple-areola tattooing is completely yours and we are here to help! The aim of this procedure
is to improve the cosmetic appearance of the breast by creating, as closely as possible, a nipple-areola that matches
the existing nipple, or for double mastectomies creating areolas the colour of your choice. We find that this treatment
helps improve body image and boost self-esteem for our clients.
H O W C A N I P R E PA R E F O R NIPPLE - AR E OLA TATTOOING?
Once you have decided to embark on your areola journey, we can start proceeding with treatment. We may ask for
images of your areola and breast, we may also ask questions about surgery to help us plan the perfect treatment for
you.
Before any body tattooing we ask for you to exfoliate the area daily for 3 days prior and to avoid any sun tanning
treatments.
W H AT H A P P E N S D U R I N G N I PPLE - AR E OLA TATTOOING?
Polly will discuss colour and size with you and mark an outline of the areola with a surgical marker. When you are
happy with the colour and size Polly will then apply the pigment (colour) into the skin.
The pigment is inserted into the skin with needles in a pen like device: they move very fast and enter the skin
at a depth of 2-3mm. There are several techniques Polly uses which build up colour and can give the ‘illusion of
protrusion’. This is especially important for patients who want a 3D effect. The procedure will take approximately 1-2
hours to complete but can vary with each individual. A dressing will then be applied to the area to prevent rubbing
from your bra.

Get smooth, supple skin with a youthful glow with our skin peels, available at different strengths depending on
your skin type.
Our skin peels are designed to refine the skins texture, reduce open pores, lessen skin blemishes including
pigmentation, and soften fine lines. The skin instantly looks smoother and brighter.
The peel itself contains glycolic and salicylic acids which are applied to the face. It heats up and can feel a little prickly,
but it is completely bearable. The acids in the peel are then deactivated and a soothing moisturiser is applied to calm
the skin.
After this point, your skin will feel tight, refreshed and has a rosy glow. Your skin will continue to have this smooth and
supple feel, and regular peels will help it to retain this suppleness and cell turnover.
We strongly advise that you apply sun block during the week following your peel, and optimize results by using
