Recreation Department Programs Preschool Programs Tolland Tykes Preschool For 3 & 4 Year Olds Classes begin September 2021 Our 3 year old class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 11:30am, September thru May (32 weeks). The tuition for this program is $1050.00 payable in *two (2) installments (August & January). Children must be 3 years old on or before December 31st. 4 year old class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, September through May (32 weeks). The tuition for this program is $1,600.00, payable in *two (2) installments (August & January). Children must be 4 years old on or before December 31st. We will be holding an open enrollment on a first come first serve basis. To register, fill out our department’s registration form and mail to the Tolland Recreation Department, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084, along with your $100.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your child’s place. Recreation Department Programs Youth Programs Tolland Recreation After School Program Open to boys and girls in grades 3rd – 8th. We are happy to be able to offer this program as an alternative to your child going home alone. Our program runs out of the Recreation Center and participants will be met at the Tolland Intermediate School and walked up to our building. You have the option of signing up for 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Program participants will have the opportunity to work on homework, enjoy some quiet time, have a snack and then expend energy participating in games and sports either in the gym or outside. This program runs all the days that the Tolland Public Schools are in operation including scheduled half days. Please note, participants must provide their own snack and drink. Instructor: Tolland Recreation Staff Day: Monday-Friday Youth Sports Date: First day of School-Last day of school Time: 2:30pm-6:00pm Instructional BASKETBALL- Saturdays Ages: Students of TIS and TMS This coed class will teach the basic skills such as, dribbling, passing, shooting and sportsmanship in a fun way! Bring water Fee: 3 days a week- $190.00 per month bottle and wear sneakers.
