Pastor’s Corner! The Hypocrisy Behind Abortion When the news reported the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that could bring death to Roe v. Wade, once again a light was cast upon the hypocrisy that exists in America. The very right to life hypocrites who are prematurely celebrating the leaked opinion are the same crowd that are always crying out against big government. I am not a proponent for abortion; yet, I do believe that if the government should not demand that its citizens should wear masks or require vaccinations, then it should not dictate what a woman does with her body. When the government mandated vaccines and masks that would protect life, they cried foul, for it infringed upon their freedom, but it is okay to infringe upon a woman’s right to choose whether she wants to give birth or not. And what is even more hypocritical, the very same anti-abortionist that advocates for the lives of unwanted births will turn around and lobby against the government providing the necessary aid to sustain those lives. In other words, they lobby for life just to support the slow death of the same. When the richest country in the world denies those lives adequate healthcare, housing, food, clothing, and education, it slowly kills them mentally and physically. Pastor Reuben J.
