2 Invitation to Participate The Undergraduate Awards (UA) are delighted to welcome you to the 9th Global Undergraduate Summit which will be held in Dublin on 12th-14th November 2018. At The Global Undergraduate Summit top award winning students gathered from all over the world present their work creating a powerful discourse across countries and 25 different disciplines. Cultural awareness and understanding is enhanced as student delegates representing over 45 different countries attend. The Global Undergraduate Summit theme this year is Know Your Worth. Know Your Responsibility. As the Summit gathers undergraduate students in Dublin, content which is embedded in the award-winning research work submitted creates important agendas. Themes ranging from Food Integrity and Sustainability to AI Robotics and The Future of Work, MedTech are discussed and facilitated by experts from the commercial and academic world. We are looking forward to providing you with an inspired environment to engage with the top global students around themes of international importance. 4 About the Global Undergraduate Summit 2018 The Global Undergraduate Summit has developed as an event in Ireland with enormous international appeal contributing significantly to establishing Ireland at the centre of global academic excellence as well as creating a distinctive event for the global leaders of tomorrow. The Global Undergraduate Summit creates opportunities to deepen engagement with UA Alumni, top undergraduates, academics globally and corporates. Important networks are formed and the opportunity for significant dialogue on the critical themes across disciplines created. UA has a genuine global reach across students and institutions of Higher Education from all corners of the world but, despite its ambition and scale, it is also recognised for the academic rigour and the independence of its evaluation and judging process.
