From Mary Pruess Dear Friends, In this season of gathering together with family and friends, WQPT is here for viewers like you. For 35 years, WQPT has been a valuable resource throughout the region for learning and entertainment—offering high-quality programming and educational outreach services. Whether it’s the ascent of young Queen Victoria or the sleuthing of Detective Constable Endeavour Morse; we go behind the headlines, with stories such as NOVA’s Thai Cave Rescue or Mary Pruess providing you with a front row seat to the nation’s top musical talent at Austin City Limits, WQPT continues to be your home for media that matters and inspires. WQPT’s Educational Outreach led by Michael Carton continues to expand to meet todays’ changing world of technology and the Tell us what demands of a region that continues to grow. In the past year, area children are learning about literacy in new ways and with tools you think like “Scratch Jr.,” the creative coding app for children ages 5–8.
