Rules of the Game (worth 10 Activity Points)

• Create teams of 5 people
     – Give your Team a Name
     – Write down the Team Name
     – Write down names of team members
     – Hand in to the Panel of Judges
     – Remember your Team Name!
          • Advice: try to come up with a snappy name so that the judges will
call on your team to participate – not all the teams may be able to
do so, and competing gets you more points!

                              Rules of the Game

• Take 5 minutes to create as many “stump” questions as possible
     – From the course material, can be answered without using any aids (no calculations or
       very simple calculations, theory preferable)
• Judges call up 2 teams – no aids allowed on stage! (computers, phones,
    pages, etc.)
• Decide which team goes first (rock-paper-scissors?)
• First team asks a “stump” question
     – If their question is answered, their opponents get 2 points each and they stay in the
game – the first team goes back to their seats
     – If their question is not answered, they give the answer, and if it is good, they get 2 points
each and they stay in the game
• Judges call up another team to join the winners
