Jessica Stroud, SAOY 2021 Last year’s winner was Jessica Stroud, a glass artist who creates bespoke pieces, as well as working to commission. Jessica says: ‘I am absolutely thrilled to have been voted Surrey Artist of the Year 2021. It’s an honour to have my work recognised in this way by the public and it means so much to me that the work I’m so passionate about resonates with others. I use mouth-blown antique glass in my panels, which is painted, stained and engraved.
