Summer Reading Rising Level 5 Happy summer! I hope you have a great summer with lots of relaxing and fun! I hope you will keep reading this summer! I have included several book titles from different genres so you will have a great variety to choose from. Here are some things I would like you to do over the summer: • Read a little each day, at least 15-20 minutes minimum. • Read at least three (3) books from the suggested lists (you are welcome to read more, this is just the minimum). • You may read books that are not on this list, and you are welcome to take AR tests on the books you read. • Write down all the books you read on the Reading Log sheet. • Pick one book that was your favorite. You will do the Bag the Elements project with the book you choose. The project is due our first day of school. The project table includes instructions. Have a great summer! Mrs. Pritchett
