PRESCHOOL DAY CAMPS Safety City Ages: 4Y-6Y Sponsored by the Worthington Parks and Recreation Department, this program is designed to teach basics of safety to kindergarten age children. This includes crossing streets, walking to school, riding bikes and traveling in school buses. Experiencing real life traffic situations, students ride big wheels through a miniature town, and are visited by speakers such as a fireman, police officers, poison control spokesperson, and others. This program is designed for children 4 and up, no special requests for younger children will be accepted. Go On The Go Camps will be traveling most of the week to various locations. These camps explore all around the Central Ohio area. Many of the activities are active and take place outdoors. A packed lunch will be necessary ON every day, coolers will be provided. Usually lunch takes place in a park near the daily destination. It is recommended that everyone also brings THE something to do on the bus. A detailed schedule, along with necessary items to bring, will be mailed out to each participant’s address one week prior to the beginning of camp. Emergency Forms will be included in the DAY CAMPS mailing and will need to be on file each week. All of the On The Go Camps are eligible for Camp Care Before & Camp Care After. Due to the seat belt laws, no exceptions can be made for anyone under the age of 8 years.
