JPII Catholic Schools Summer Adventure Camp Choose up to 11 Weeks of Adventures, May 31 - August 12 Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Located at Trinity Elementary School 2811 7th St E – West Fargo A fun and active, faith centered adventure program for students entering K – grade 5 For more information or to register email: summercamp@jp2schools.org
Camp Information Program – Are you hoping to have fun this summer with your friends? Do you like to participate in fun summer activities? Parents, do you want to send your children to a place that will strengthen their faith? The summer program through JPII Catholic Schools is all these things, and so much more! Come to a camp that will be a fun getaway for the summer while providing a fun learning opportunity and a place of prayer. Dates – May 31st – August 12th, Weekdays 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Daily Camp activities run from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Students can be dropped off or picked up later (except from 1:00- 3:30) just please communicate with the director ahead of time. Registration - Registration forms are available at jp2schools.org under the quick links tab. Hard copies will be available at Holy Spirit, Trinity, Nativity and Shanley/Sacred Heart school offices. Registration forms are to be returned to: Summer Camp 5600 25th Street South Fargo, ND 58104 Cost Details – Cost for the program will be $200.00 per week. Parents have the option to choose the weeks they want. Cost includes lunch and activity fees. For planning purposes, we require a one week notice for any changes to program attendance.

What to Bring… o (Following items need to be clearly labeled with child’s name) - Water Bottle - Sunscreen - Swimsuit, Life Jacket (if needed), & Towel (Please label on tag) - Appropriate clothing for hands on ready fun: t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes & light jacket - Fargo Parks Pool Pass or Punch card (Waterslide pools: North, South, Davies) *Sunscreen will not be provided by Summer Adventures. We ask you to bring your own labeled with your child’s first or last name. If your child begins to run out a teacher will send you a message over seesaw. Pool Trips- We hope to use the city pools. Pool pass and punch card purchases can be made through Fargo Parks. Pool passes can be used unlimited times per season. Punch cards come with 10 punches and do not expire from year to year. Please purchase what will be best for your family. Heritage Week, May 31st- June 3rd Families are a huge part of who we are today. To start off the summer, we will be learning about different types of heritage and cultures around the world. This week our activities will be based on different traditions people celebrate around the world. We will finish the week with a trip to Bonanzaville, a museum about the heritage of people that lived in Cass County before us. Nature Week, June 6th-10th Kids love to explore the world around them! This is a week full of nature themed activities; scavenger hunts, walks to the park, enjoying the outdoors, and finding things that we miss in nature during our everyday lives. STEAM Week, June 13th-17th STEAM- the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This is sure to be a great week of learning with all our summer campers. We will do building activities, independent experiments, and learn all at the same time! Arts Week, June 20th- 24th During this week we will be learning how to appreciate the different types of art. Throughout the week we will be doing a variety of different art projects, watching videos on others doing art, and playing with colors and chalk. Sports/Movement Week, June 27th-July 1st This week we will learn how to take care of our bodies and improve our health through physical activity, sports, and nutrition. This week will help kids find which physical activity interest them the most during this fun week of movement! Throughout this week we will be joined by Student-Athletes from around the area. Last year we were joined by NDSU, MSUM, and Concordia athletes. (We encourage kids and staff to do wear sports related gear throughout this week)
USA Week, July 5th-8th (Closed Monday the 4th) During our short week we will be celebrating our wonderful Country! Students will learn about the history of the United States and also get a chance to celebrate the 4th of July with their friends, recognize people who help keep us safe and share 4th of July artwork! Science Week, July 11th- 15th Who doesn’t love science? During science week we will be conducting experiments and learning about how these experiments work. We help students ask lots of questions and explore on their own with projects during this week! Service Week, July 18th-22nd Helping others is a very important part of being a part of a community. This week will bring about different experiences and opportunities to help those in need while giving back to our community while working with our friends. We hope to do activities to serve others throughout the week such as, picking up trash around the school, helping friends and family, and even fundraising for good causes ourselves. Space Week, July 25th-29th Space is huge and there is so much to learn! During space week we will explore what is in outer space, learn about planets and visit the planetarium on MSUM campus! This is always a week filled with fun activities and learning about space! Career Week, August 1st-5th Career week will be a week for campers to learn about a variety of different careers that there are in the world. We hope to be joined by adults who have chosen different career paths and we hope to learn all about them! Animal Week, August 8th-12th This week will be filled with fun learning activities about animals through trips to a zoo and animal shelters! We will share and learn about our favorite pets and animals! During this week, teachers and staff will be in the building preparing for the start of school. Campers will need to pack a lunch and prepare to be outdoors every afternoon. Please adhere to drop- off and pick-up times and note this week only (8:30am – 5:00pm).

To better assist us with planning and staffing and as our Summer Adventures Program grows; please note: Effective May 16, 2022, there will be no refunds for weeks not in attendance. Any additional requests for weeks will be granted based on availability. No cost differential on partial attendance for weeks selected.
