                                                 February 15, 2022

REMINDER: If you see any suspicious activity, please contact Allegiance Security at either 604-701-
1692 OR 604-392-1692 and please state which property (Coqualeetza or St. Mary’s) you are reporting
from. If you believe it to be an emergency, please call 911.

Each department/building may have separate protocols/ policies in place as office spaces are set up differently. In-office procedures
remain the same as per the below and we will continue our ongoing measures to reduce the risk of communicable disease
transmission. Which includes:
              • Wash hands often
              • Wear a mask in common areas (is recommended but not mandatory)
              • Stay 2 meters apart
              • Spray and wipe down your workstations
              • And if you have symptoms, get tested and stay home
Management at SSA would like to kindly remind everyone that these policies are in place to keep staff and visitors safe. We
encourage you to follow the health and workplace recommendations Let’s continue to work together and protect each other. Thank
you for your continued effort.

BUILDING 1 DECONSTRUCTION & SITE ENTRANCE CLOSURES
We are beginning the process to deconstruct Building 1. We are required to close off
the Northeast portion of the Coqualeetza Property. Effective February 8th, there will
be no access to the Coqualeetza property from Vedder Road. The only access points
to the property will be off Wells Road (to the South) or Storey Avenue (to the North).
There will be a construction fence erected to close off and secure the area. The
construction area will not include the Smoke Hut, which is North of Building 1, which
can continue to be used. There will be no walking access between Building 7 and
Building 1. From February 8 to the Middle of March, the deconstruction will be interior.
The exterior deconstruction will start in mid-March. Thank you for your patience and
cooperation.

FNHA – MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS SUPPORTS
The FNHA and other organizations provide culturally safe and trauma-informed
cultural, emotional, and mental health services to Indigenous people in BC.

We now have COVID vaccines at Stó:lō Health!
(Moderna, Pfizer and Pediatric Pfizer)
We will be welcoming all people who would like to receive their 1st, 2 nd, or 3rd doses, booster doses, and children 5 years of age
and up (must have had their 5th birthday by the time of the apt).
We will be hosting clinics in Building 7 on Tuesdays from 12-3 pm. (Starting January 11)
We do require an appointment. Please call Deb at 604-824-3210 or Marge at 604-824-3271, between the hours 8:30-2:30.

 COVID-19 BOOSTER SHOT INFORMATION
The importance of getting a COVID-19 booster shot or 3rd dose is based on a series of vaccine 1 and 2 doses waning after 6
months from 90-95% to 55-70 %. It is not known at this time if there will be a need for a 4th dose. Time will tell... This 3rd
dose should last at least 6 months. Even if people have had Covid-19 they are being asked to continue with the 3-dose series.
The 3rd dose will bring your antibodies up again to 95-97%, which is the goal to minimize hospitalizations. To date in the Fraser
Valley, we have cancelled 1940 surgeries because of Covid-19 hospitalizations.
