HEALTH AND WELLNESS HEALTHY HABITS CLASS Wednesdays, March 31 – Member: $50 Do you need accountability? This 8 week class is 6-7:30 p.m. May 25 Community: $100 for you. ADULT INDOOR HOCKEY LEAGUE Tuesdays Spring Member: $20 The Dover YMCA is offering indoor Hockey Game time TBA Community: $35 to adults ages 18 and older. This eight-on- eight hockey league provides a healthy outlet for adults to compete in an active and social environment. There is a minimum of four teams to run the league (10 players per team). This is an 8 game season with playoffs. Teams will play three 10 minute periods per week. ADULT COED DODGEBALL Thursdays Summer Member: $20 The Dover YMCA is offering Dodgeball to Game time TBA Community: $35 adults age 18 and older. CATERPILLARS 3 year olds Tuesday/ Thursday, Spring 1 Members: $94 Your little Caterpillar will begin to get a taste of what school 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 2 Community: $130 is really like with activities like show and tell, art projects, snack time and story time. Children will discover colors, shapes, letters, and numbers through our fun and educational activities. They will begin to practice writing letters and numbers and much more! Participants are not required to do anything that makes them uncomfortable, but are encouraged to try new skills with their instructor’s help. SWIM TEAM The Dover YMCA Swim Team offers competitive swimming during the summer. The DYD Dolphins compete locally in the Delmarva Swim Association and regionally with USA Swimming meets. The focus on summer swimming is having fun, learning how to be a great teammate, and positive character building. Spring Conditioning Swim Clinic: March 19, 20 and 21, Spring Free These tryouts are designed for swimmers who have not been on a 6 - 7 p.m. in the 8 lane competitive swim team before. Swimmers age 5 and over will be evaluated pool by the Dolphin Coaching Staff. Swimmers will be working on the 4 competitive strokes, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
