Spring 2023 Program Schedule Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and the woods are waking up from a quiet winter. Spring is an incredible season to visit Beaman Park. Before most of the trees have grown new leaves, warm sunlight hits the forest floor, causing the spring ephemeral wildflowers to bloom brilliantly yet briefly. Consider joining us for a free public program this season – we will have guided hikes, game days, kids’ activities, art and music programs, and more. Our annual Wildflower Week is April 16-22, with several programs celebrating all things wildflower throughout the week. Registration is required for most programs; register by calling or emailing the Nature Center. Park and program updates can be found on our Facebook page and our website. If you would like to get more involved by volunteering or donating, visit www.friendsofbeamanpark.org. We look forward to seeing you this spring!
