Tony Vaccaro, The Guggenheim Hat The Ground Glass 1st Annual Student Photography Invitational Deadline to apply: Friday, April 1 On view: May 18 - June 16 This exhibit provides an opportunity for high school students who live or attend school in Westchester County, NY, or Fairfield County, CT, to submit work for potential inclusion in a photography book and an online show Anne de Villeméjane, curated by members of The Ground Glass. In addition, a select number of Anne de Villeméjane, The Guardian Dreamer Acrylic Sculpture students will also get their work included in the Ground Glass 46th Annual exhibit at The Rye Art Center Gallery. The Ground Glass is an independent association of fine art photographers dedicated to promoting the practice and appreciation of fine photography Public Art Initiative in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Adult Lessons Have you wished for years that you could “tickle” the ivories, loosen up those fingers and rattle those reeds with some good ol’ melodies? It’s never too late to start! Parent + Child Lessons Ages 4 & up Suzuki Violin/Suzuki Guitar* These weekly lessons emphasize the traditional Suzuki rote method of instrumental instruction with exercises in ear training and proper technique before basic note reading is incorporated. Piano Pals/Guitar Pals* What could be more fun than playing together? Adult and child learn to play the guitar or piano together in private weekly 30 minute sessions designed to double the musical fun. Enjoy musical games, instruction, and ear training along with creating beautiful music together. *An introductory lesson is required for new students. Exciting clay Join the fun as we explore the elements of art through exciting projects will be provided each week and students can develop projects and a variety of mediums! We will learn all about their ideas in a relaxing atmosphere.
