Hello and Welcome | SPCK Children’s Titles 2021 | 3 Hello and Welcome to the SPCK Children’s Guide Amid the strange events we’ve all been adjusting to during the past few months, it’s become more important than ever for parents to have resources they can use at home to help children in their Christian faith, and for children to be able to find peace in the God of the Bible. Our latest selection of titles is perfect for families and for individual reading, and we’ve included a few highlights below. Publishing in March, we have Goodnight World by Rebecca Parkinson, a comforting bedtime story for 3- to 5-year olds encouraging children to say goodnight to all of God’s animals as they settle down to sleep. Next, we’re pleased to have God’s Brilliantly Big Creation Story by Dai Woolridge, a thrilling depiction of the creation story, filled with amazing facts and awe-inspiring illustrations. This picture book is a truly joyous celebration of the world we live in and the incredible God who made it all. For a middle-grade audience, we’re publishing Planet Protectors, a positive and practical look at how 7- to 9-year olds can help to care for God’s world. Written by children’s author Paul Kerensa and Tearfund’s Global Advocacy and Influencing Director Ruth Valerio, this book is packed full of facts, figures and fun ideas for how children can lead the way in living sustainably.
