EVENTS R E N E W S T A R T I N G T U E S 6 T H J A N , 8 P M Life can be hard and at times unexpected. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with the load we are carrying. Collectively we’ve been through a very strange couple of years, and it’s affected us all in different ways. Terry Virgo wisely said ‘In overcoming stress relaxation is important but renewal is vital. What we sometimes treasure as relaxation provides no renewal at all. Stress can be replaced by lethargy.’ This is such a helpful reminder that relaxation and leisure activities are not enough to cure us when we are stressed and depleted. We need renewal, we need Jesus. With all this in mind Christine and I are going to be running a special course for people who: Know they need Find themselves spiritually depleted and refreshing and feeding. not able to give out very much. It will take place on Thursday evenings at our home and we will enjoy social time together, work through some teaching material, and have time for ministry.
