August Spotlight The staff at Shaler Area High School has been busy planning for an exciting 2019-2020 school year throughout the summer months! We look forward to the start of the school year on Wednesday, August 28TH for all grade levels. Freshmen Orientation Day (8/27) Our 9th graders will have the opportunity to ease into Freshmen year by having the chance to have the building to themselves for introductions, building tours, and a meet and greet with all of their teachers. September Spotlight Underclass Pictures (9/4 and 9/5) Lifetouch Photography will be here to photograph all underclassmen and staff for their 2019 – 2020 school ID cards and yearbook pictures. Yearbook Senior Ad Drive (9/1 to 10/3) The Class of 2020 will continue the tradition of selling personal and business ads to help defray the cost of the 2020 Spectrum yearbook. Families are encouraged to dig out the best baby photos, silly childhood memories, and senior pictures to wish your senior the best as they graduate. All ads and pictures are due by Wednesday, October 3RD. Homecoming (9/21) “World Tour” is this year’s Homecoming theme. Get your passport ready as our SA Titans travel around the world and down Mt. Royal Blvd. Titan fans should stay for the picnic and football game as we take on Franklin Regional. It will be a day to remember in Shaler Area!
