As of September 29, no residents or staff on either the Seven Acres or Medallion campuses have tested positive for the virus. Although we do understand that it is very difficult on the residents and their families, we continue to follow the federal, state and local mandates that restrict the operations and visitations to our buildings and residents. We are in constant consultation with our advising epidemiologist, and are doing our best to prevent the infection from coming back for an unwanted visit. Notwithstanding that, however, in compliance with these regulations and with the guidance of our doctors, we have recently taken measures to allow our residents greater freedom to participate in group activities and to socialize, as well as granting easier and more open access to visitors and families. Those of us on the Board of Trustees understand the pain and frustration of what our families and their loved ones are going through, but this virus is deadly and our residents are some of the population that is most at risk. We do the best that we can to balance all of these risks.
