OPERATING PROCEDURES In the Event A School Closing Decision is Necessary Venerini will make all attempts to remain open, but will comply with any local health department or state guidelines from Gov. Baker regarding the closing of schools. All cases of COVID in school will be reported to the local Dept. of Health. In the event that there is more than one case at school at a time, the Dept. of Health will be consulted to determine the appropriate course of action which could be a short term closure for deep cleaning, a 14-day period of home isolation for the entire school, or a longer-term closure if community spread is determined. If the City of Worcester or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts close due to increasing cases, then Venerini Academy will transition to all remote learning. 13 School Reopening Plan 2020 - 2021
