At this year’s LeCompte/Kalaway Cup Polo Matches, you’ll see picnics of every persuasion... from fancy gourmet lunches with cut crystal and Oriental rugs to cold cuts and Cokes or bratwurst and beer! You’ll see men in blazers and women in wide hats. You’ll see girls in cut-offs and guys in tank tops. A polo match is a lot like a trip to Ravinia. Except instead of great music, you’ll hear galloping hooves and see riders on fast horses risking life and limb to put a little white ball between two towering goal posts. We’ll provide the polo.
