INTRODUCTION In 2017 we shook off the last traces of the economic turndown. The only way was up! We saw a hiring spur unfold with organisations quickly expanding their teams in order to keep up with the economic growth. For Walters People, the year was equally fruitful. We vastly increased the number of recruitment consultants and opened a new division in the Rotterdam office, where we now also recruit for business support roles. Our Banking & Financial Services division showed particularly rapid growth in 2017. Talented professionals have become scarce, and will be even more Jose Bokhorst difficult to find in 2018.
