stations from the ship’s skilled chefs, ensuring freshly prepared
dishes, and plenty of healthy options from which to choose.
Awake each day in anticipation of the excitement to come,
and whether you’re an early riser or someone who likes
to take things a little slower – perhaps heading for a stroll
on the sun deck or even ashore, if your ship is tied up
alongside – the excellent breakfast station awaits you.

At lunchtime, whether you’re sailing or returning from a
morning ashore, make your unhurried way to the dining
room, where once again the chefs will have prepared

On especially sunny days, you can swap the
dining room for the sun deck, where a barbecue
and grill offer opportunities to enjoy al fresco
meals as you take in the passing scenery.
When evening comes, and the day’s activities have
drawn to a close, perhaps enjoy a cocktail in the
bar, before heading to the dining room where the
evening meal awaits. Take your time over dinner,
and perhaps end the evening back in the lounge,
where there’s light entertainment to enjoy.
If your ship is alongside for the evening, the flexibility in
the dining room comes into its own, meaning that you
can grab a bite before heading ashore to sample the
atmosphere in a colourful shore-side town or village,
or alternatively enjoy a pre-dinner drink ashore before

ensure that, whichever grade of cabin you choose,

Introducing the sleek, eco-friendly new E-Motion ship. Joining
the fleet in 2021, E-Motion will combine all the traditional
comforts of A-ROSA vessels with a sustainable approach to
river cruising. She has been specially designed to minimise
her impact on the environment, using battery propulsion to
reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Accommodating
up to 280 guests, E-Motion is bigger and faster than her
sister ships and boasts an extra deck and indoor Jacuzzi.

Your first port of call will be pretty Koblenz,
picturesquely located at the confluence of the Rhine
and the Moselle. From here, you’ll cruise through
the UNESCO-protected Middle Rhine and Lorelei
Valley and join the River Main and head to financial
city Frankfurt, the birthplace of the famous poet
and writer Goethe, with its ultra-modern skyline.
As you sail further down the Main, it’ll feel like
you’re sailing back in time, as you stop at the
charming medieval city of Wertheim and then
pretty Würzburg, beneath the mighty Marienburg
Fortress. Call at Bamberg, with its wonderfully-
