2020: A full year of challenges Revenue contribution • COVID-19 slashed number of global international arrivals. 2019 2020 UNWTO reported a drop of over 1 bn international arrivals worldwide in 2020 (-74% YoY). For Thailand, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Others Others 27.1% reported around 6.7 mn of international tourist arrivals in 2020 (-83% 25.3% YoY). Domestic travelling also declined from COVID-19 impact.
