Renfrew-Collingwood Foreword Seniors’ Guide This resource guide is a collaborative project of Collingwood Neighbourhood House, Information on Seniors’ Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society, Vancouver Programs and Services Coastal Health, Renfrew Park Community Centre, Three Links Care Society and senior residents of the Renfrew-Collingwood Area. The purpose of the guide is to provide information that allows seniors to access the many seniors’ programs and services within the Renfrew- Collingwood community. This guide does not offer any specific recommendations. This seniors’ guide is one of four service areas of the Community Action for Seniors’ Independence (CASI) Program. The CASI Program is jointly supported by the United Way of the Lower Mainland and the Government of BC. CASI is also administered by Collingwood Neighbourhood House and Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society. Community Action for Renfrew-Collingwood Map Seniors’ Independence (CASI) The Renfrew-Collingwood area is one of five communities being served by the Community Action for Seniors’ Indepenence (CASI) pilot program. CASI in Renfrew-Collingwood provides the following service areas: 1. Seniors’ Shuttle: This service helps seniors attend medical appointments, grocery shopping and other errands. 2. Walking Club: Seniors can keep fit and meet new people through regular walking around the neighbourhood and other neighbouring areas. 3. Light Housekeeping: Connecting seniors with housekeepers for light house work. 4. Seniors’ Guide: Educates seniors on programs and services within the Renfrew- Collingwood community.
