CASE CONFERENCES This year we have taken a novel approach to small group discussions to really maximise the educational experience for participants. These will be in a case conference format with a preceptor and up to 8 other participants. Sessions will run for 90 minutes. All participants and preceptors will bring a case on the nominated topic. Preceptors may ask for these to be submitted prior to the meeting or brought along on the day. From these cases a discussion including best diagnostic, practice or management guidelines will develop. All cases, presenters and case discussion times will be referenced in the minutes. Participants will then receive a statement of participation documenting their time of involvement as required per ANZCA guidelines and will hence be evidence for the Case Conference Activity in Practice Evaluation for 90 min.
