Chapter 1 Rebranding Chapter 1 Rebranding INTRODUCTION We continue to make progress as we transition our brand, products and technology from Thomson Reuters to Refinitiv. As we are now in the second part of the year, you will continue to see changes to our customer touchpoints and overall product experience. If you have any questions, please contact your account representative or visit https://my.refinitiv.com. The FX Trading 7.6 and 7.7 software and installation program has been updated with Refinitiv branding. Only users who install the latest version of FXT will see the fully rebranded GUI. Some of the aspects of the branding, for example, login and landing pages maybe updated at a later date. FXT INSTALL PROGRAM The program used to install FXT has been rebranded. Please see the Refinitiv FXT 7.7 Install Guide for details. LAUNCHING FXT The path for launching FXT has changed since FXT 7.6. To launch FXT select Start > Programs > Refinitiv FX Trading 7.7.0.nnn > Refinitiv FX Trading. See the Refinitiv FXT 7.7 Install Guide for details. Chapter 1 Rebranding FXT SOFTWARE The main change is the top of the user interface and the left-hand corner of each dialog box: DEFAULT INSTALLATION PATH The defaults installation path has changed. Chapter 2 New Features Chapter 2 New Features AGGREGATOR (PRICESTREAM) OffVenue NDF Trading Added trade support for OffVenue Non-Deliverable Futures (NDFs) across 12 currency pairs for all standard tenors as well as broken dates. Pairs are USD settled only. FIXING ORDERS FORWARD POINT TOLERANCE CHECK
The Fixing Pair Tolerance feature has been enhanced to include checking the forward points on a fixing order.
When this feature is enabled the forwards points on a fixing order are compared to the indicative forward points at
the time of the trade and then are highlighted when then Liquidity providers forward points are out of the defined
tolerance range.
This feature is available on FX Trading versions 7.4 and above.
Enabling Forward IQ Points Check
An ‘Include IQ Points Checking’ has been added to the Fixing Pair Tolerance Settings feature in Admin. When the
‘Include IQ Points Checking’ is enabled an additional column entitled ‘Points Tolerance %’ is available to enter a
points tolerance value.
IQ Points and IQ Points Diff Blotter Columns
When the ‘Include Points Checking’ is enabled two additional columns, IQ Points and IQ Points Diff, will appear
on the POMS Requirement Blotter and CT FIX window along with the Fix Spot Rate, ‘!’, Fix Diff columns.
• The IQ Points column displays the IQ points at the time the done deal was sent.
• The IQ Points Diff displays the difference in pips between the Points on the trade and the IQ Points.
Tolerance Break Alert – This is now a sortable column which allows clients to quickly identify any orders that have
been priced when either the Bank Fixing Rate or the Bank IQ Points values are outside of the tolerance values set
up in FXall Admin.
• Red exclamation point. The exclamation point is displayed in red when the Liquidity Provider spot rate is out
of tolerance.
• Amber exclamation point. The exclamation point is displayed in amber when only the Liquidity Provider
points rate is out of tolerance.
Print Ticket
The Fixing IQ Points and IQ Points Diff are displayed in the Other column on the Print Ticket when the entity has
enabled “Include IQ Points Checking” in Admin.

Trade History
The IQ Points rate are available as Fixing IQ Points and IQ Points Diff are available as Fixing IQ Points Diff in as
Requirement level columns in Trade History.

The IQ Points and IQ Points Diff are available in STP download. These values may be downloaded as

RESTING ORDERS BLOTTER USER EXPERIENCE IMPROVEMENTS
The Resting Orders tab has been renamed to Working Orders. This is to better reflect upcoming changes to the
platform such as Order Splitting.
The icon on the left Navigation bar has been renamed Working Orders.
To adopt a more standardized look and feel throughout the Refinitiv platforms, some of the icons on the Working
Orders tab have a new look and feel.

NEW FUNCTIONALITY TO AUTO-CONVERT SWAPS TO AN SSP
An entity level checkbox has been added to the FX Trading > General Admin screen called Auto Convert
Swaps to SSP.” This ensures that all potential swaps, whether loaded in via an OMS or as a result of netting on
the Requirements blotter, always appear as an SSP. Ad hoc swaps in QuickTrade will still be allowed.

Document version: 1.7 12Chapter 2 New Features REFINITIV FX AGGREGATOR The Refinitiv FX Aggregator can be launched by clicking the Refinitiv Aggregator button in the navigation bar. The Refinitiv Aggregator button will only be displayed if you are permissioned to use the functionality. Refinitiv Aggregator brings access to Refinitiv venues and other leading sources of liquidity, such as CBOE FX and Euronext FX, together on one fully hosted platform. Please contact your Refinitiv Relationship Manager to be permissioned to trade using the Refinitiv FX Aggregator. See MyRefinitiv for more information. Chapter 3 Refinitiv Infrastructure
As part of an exercise to improve Refinitiv infrastructure some changes are taking place to the FQDNs used to
access FXT services. These changes mean that after the end July 2021 certain FQDNs currently in use will
become obsolete and cease to work, and new Refinitiv FQDNs have been introduced to replace them.
Warning: It is mandatory that all FXT users have upgraded to FXT 7.7 or above by 31 July 2021
Please note the following:
1. Because some FQDNs used by the FXT application are changing, as a result of the way the system works
this requires us to release a new version of FXT that is designed to use these new FQDNs.
2. By the end of July 2021 any versions of FXT currently in use will cease to be able to connect to FXT services
and will become obsolete.
3. It is mandatory that all FXT users have upgraded to FXT 7.7 or above by 31 July 2021.
4. As a result of these changes any customer who is upgrading to 7.7 must ensure their network is open to
the new Refinitiv FQDNs and to the current Thomson Reuters FQDNs in order for 7.7 to work.
5. The FXT FXall Network Summary Guide has been updated to help customers prepare for these changes.

STANDALONE TEST TOOL
A standalone test tool is available that performs tests on the user’s PC that cover both system and Refinitiv
domain network requirements.
NOTE
This tool only covers the Refinitiv domain and not the current Thomson Reuters domain.
The tool can be downloaded from the following link: https://eikon.refinitiv.com/index.html. The Eikon Standalone
Test Tool can be used to test both Refinitiv Eikon and Refinitiv FXT requirements.

Chapter 4 Resolved Issues CONVERSATIONAL DEALING Interest message answerback There was an issue in Dealing where if a call was placed without an interest message the answerback (long counterparty name) would flash briefly in the call tile once the call was picked up and then disappear. This has been rectified so that the answerback (long counterparty name) persists in this scenario until further details are places in the conversation, at which point it will be updated with the deal summary. Refinitiv FX Trading
As part of FX Trading version 7.7, the End User License Agreement (EULA) has been updated to include the
Refinitiv name. Users have to accept the EULA as part of the installation or upgrade process.
ACCEPTANCE OF EULA TERMS
If a user is upgrading FXT from version 7.6 or below using the FXT Updater tool, the End User License
Agreement is not displayed. By using the FXT Updater tool it is assumed by Refinitiv the user agrees to the terms
of the EULA. The EULA for FXT version 7.7 is displayed below.
END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR REFINITIV FX TRADING 7.7
Refinitiv FX Trading is provided under license, subject to the relevant services contract agreed between the
Customer and relevant member of the Refinitiv Group. You acknowledge that any user IDs and passwords used
to access Refinitiv FX Trading cannot be shared. The Refinitiv Group owns all intellectual property rights in
Refinitiv FX Trading or has obtained from a third party the right to supply them to you. You agree that you will
acquire no proprietary rights to Refinitiv FX Trading.
"Customer" means the entity which has authorized you to use Refinitiv FX Trading.
"Refinitiv Group" means Refinitiv Holdings Limited and any entity that, from time to time, is directly or indirectly
controlled by Refinitiv Holdings Limited.
"Control" means the power to direct or cause the direction of the management or policies of such entity, whether
through the ownership of voting securities, by contract, or otherwise.

Chapter 6 Known issues Chapter 6 Known issues DISPLAY ISSUE Depending on the user’s Windows screen resolution display issues may be seen. Text in the Login dialog box and About window may look slightly distorted. NOTE The main FXT user interface is not affected by this issue. We recommend a monitor and display resolution of 1920 x 1080. You may be able to improve the display by changing the Windows display Scale and Layout settings. MULTIPLE FXT LOGIN DIALOG BOXES DISPLAYED SIMULTANEOUSLY If a user launches the FXT login dialog box twice, an error message will be displayed after the second FXT login dialog box. NOTE We do not support two instances of FXT running on the same physical PC at the same time. FXT UPDATER Additional step required when using the FXT Updater There is a known issue whereby if the FXT Updater is used to upgrade to version 7.7 from FXT 7.5 or below, then an extra upgrade step as detailed below will need to be performed before the FXT 7.7 application can be launched. Chapter 6 Known issues Once the Upgrade process has completed and the FXT Updater is closed it will need to be re-launched to perform Post Processing activities before the FXT 7.7 application can be launched. When the FXT Updater is relaunched to perform the Post Processing activities, the following screen will be displayed: If an attempt is made to launch the FXT 7.7 application and the Updater has not been relaunched to complete Post Processing activities then the following message will be displayed, prompting the user to re-launch the Updater so that Post Processing activities can complete. Chapter 6 Known issues Unable to use the FXT Updater to upgrade when using 32-bit operating system FXT 7.7 is a 64-bit only application. Clients currently running on a 32-bit operating system cannot use the FXT Updater. Support for FXT running on 32-bit operating system finished on 15 November 2019. See PCN 10497 for details. SUPPORT Upload button not working in Configuration Manager In the FXT Configuration Manager under System Logs, clicking the Upload button opens a link that is no longer supported. Please use this link instead: https://my.refinitiv.com/content/mytr/en/productsupport.html Select I need help using the product and Refinitiv FX Trading as the product, and there will be a link to attach a file up to 10 MB – this can be used to upload the log files to Refinitiv Support. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
This policy is the FXT version obsolescence policy that was introduced and was effective from Thursday 31 st May
2018.
The aim of this policy is to ensure that clients of FXT are working on clearly defined and supported versions of the
FXT application.
IMPORTANT UPDATE OCTOBER 2020
The Refinitiv FX Trading infrastructure has been updated as we transition our brand, products and technology
from Thomson Reuters to Refinitiv. This impacts all FX Trading users and requires a change to the FXT Version
Obsolescence Policy as stated below.
All versions of FXT up to and including FXT 7.6 will be end of life on 31 July 2021. All clients must update to
FXT 7.7 or later by 31 July 2021. From August 2021 users will not be able to use any version of FXT up to and
including FXT 7.6.
Warning: It is mandatory that all FXT users have upgraded to FXT 7.7 or above by 31 July 2021
As a result, Refinitiv is modifying the FXT Obsolescence Policy to bring it in to line with this version end of life
notice.
OBSOLESCENCE POLICY
As part of Refinitiv’s commitment to ensure the optimal functioning and performance of the FXT application, we
are introducing a rolling version obsolescence policy. This will help our client base by aiding the functioning of the
product on several levels, covering functionality, fixes of deficiencies, security, improved performance and
supportability.
The policy covers the following topics:
1. Defined Supported versions: Refinitiv will publish the list of the supported versions of FX Trading with
every release of a new version. This will usually be the last 3 major versions that have been released
although Refinitiv reserves the right to change the number of supported versions. See FXT Supported
Versions.
2. Obsolete versions: Obsolete versions will be any releases not on the list of Defined Supported versions as
summarized above.
3. The obsolescence period: This is a minimum period of 6 months from the release of the most up to date
version, as communicated to clients. Within such time clients are required to upgrade to a supported version
as per the guidance on what versions have been made obsolete.
4. A deficiency list: This is a summary document of all major functional fixes in each release. See FXT FXall
Resolved Deficiencies.
5. Disabling usage of obsolete versions of FX Trading: After the 6 month obsolescence period, at Refinitiv’s
discretion, and with prior notice to clients, obsolete versions will be blocked from connecting to the FXT
trading servers.
SCOPE OF THE POLICY
This policy applies to all users of FX Trading.

Definition of software releases within FX Trading
• Major releases are indicated by the first 2 delimited figures and contain new functionality and fixes. For
example, FXT 7.5 is a major version.
• Minor releases are indicated by the 3rd delimited figure(s) of the release name and contain mainly fixes. For
example, 7.2.2 would be a minor version. The last two digits in this example are a build number only and
can be ignored.
Release schedule for FX Trading
• As of the date of this policy FXT operates on a program of 3 major versions a year. Clients acknowledge that
this is subject to change at Refinitiv discretion.
Definition of the supported versions of FXT
• Supported versions reflect the full operational support from Refinitiv for FXT.
VERSION OBSOLESCENCE
Version obsolescence is an automatic rolling procedure based on the version release program of FXT. Unless
stipulated otherwise in the FXT Release Notes, every new major release (as described below) will automatically
make the oldest supported version obsolete. When there is a new release of FXT, the Release Notes will clarify
which versions are affected.
From FX Trading version 7.1, the FXT application has an optional update mechanism to allow FX Trading clients
to upgrade their current version to a newer supported version of FXT or the latest version. This is in the form of an
integrated software update feature that does not require the user to perform a full installation of the FXT GUI in
order to upgrade. See the FXT Updater Quick Start Guide for details.
In subsequent releases Refinitiv is aiming to introduce an alerts system to advise users that they are using an
unsupported version or that their version is now disabled because of obsolescence.
How can I tell what version of FXT I am currently using?
The application shows the version you are currently using in the top banner as shown below:
From this example you can see the application is version number 7.7.0.
CHANGES TO THE OBSOLESCENCE POLICY
Refinitiv has the right to divert from or change this obsolescence policy in the event of urgent changes that could
relate, though are not limited to, functional, regulation, security or support incidents. This will be notified via a
written communication to all FXT clients.

INTRODUCTION
As part of our commitment to ensure the optimal functioning and performance of the FX Trading (FXT) product
from Refinitiv, we have a rolling version obsolescence policy. This will help our client base by aiding the
functioning of the product on several levels, covering functionality, fixes of deficiencies, security, improved
performance and supportability.
Warning: Refinitiv cannot confirm FXT service reliability if you are using an unsupported version.
Please refer to the FX Trading Version Obsolescence Policies for both the desktop and post trade applications on
MyRefinitiv for details.
The tables below list all the currently supported versions of FXT, and versions of FXT that will become obsolete.

Chapter 9 Technical changes Chapter 9 Technical changes ADDITIONAL STEP REQUIRED WHEN UPDATING USING THE FXT UPDATER When upgrading from FXT 7.5 or below an additional step is required when using the FXT Updater to install FXT. The FXT Updater needs to be run twice before FXT 7.7 can be launched. See the Refinitiv FX Trading Updater Quick Start Guide for details. LAUNCHING FXT The path for launching FXT has changed since FXT 7.6. To launch FXT select Start > Programs > Refinitiv FX Trading 7.7.0.nn > Refinitiv FX Trading. See the Refinitiv FXT 7.7 Install Guide for details. JAVA VERSION The version of Java shipped with FXT is AdoptOpenJDK version 11.0.6. 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM FXT 7.7 is a 64-bit application. Clients running on a 32-bit operating system will not be able to install/upgrade to FXT 7.7. See PCN 10497 for details. CONVERSATIONAL DEALING Removal of Support Menu links Removal of support menu links from the Dealing Setup and Support Tools menu – As part of the rebranding of FX Trading from Thomson Reuters to Refinitiv, old links to Thomson Reuters support pages have been removed. For product support customer are advised to go to https://www.refinitiv.com/en/contact-us. CONNECTIVITY FQDNS FQDNs that previously pointed to Thomson Reuters domains are being updated to point to Refinitiv Domains. Client’s network must support Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters domains to allow FXT 7.7 to be used. See Chapter 3 Refinitiv Infrastructure for details. USER INTERFACE AND INSTALLATION PROGRAM REBRANDED The FX Trading software, installation program is displayed in Refinitiv styling. See Chapter 1 Rebranding on page 7 for details.
