The new Cabriolet’s sleek looks and fully concealed soft top belie the fact that luggage space is increased by 60 litres with improved access. The new model is also around 50kg lighter than before. The acoustic soft top has a thick inner foam layer to reduce interior noise plus a glass heated rear window, and is available in black, grey or brown, with the liner in a choice of black or lunar silver. A choice of SE, Sport or S line trims accompanies three engines at launch – 1.4 TFSI 140PS, 1.8 TFSI 180PS and 2.0 TDI 150PS. All three offer spirited performance, combined fuel consumption of up to 67.3mpg and CO2 emissions from just 110g/km (2.0 TDI 150PS manual). The new Cabriolet is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in March 2014. New A8: luxury taken to the next level Fresh new looks with a sharper grille design and new bonnet contours, new headlights and bumpers, more power and equipment and a host of interior refinements mark out the new Audi A8, which goes on sale in January 2014.
