Program Hybrid format and instructions to presenters in parallel sessions The emma2021 conference will be held in hybrid format to ensure participation in the academic program is possible despite the current corona restrictions. Online participation will be allowed only through zoom. The direct links to each session are included in this program. An invitation to join a conference platform with access to all online sessions will be also sent to all participants before the conference. Those attending online need to download and set up Zoom. In each parallel session, there will be one onsite chair, one online chair and one technical assistant (who guarantees the operation of IT equipment onsite) Each session is 55 minutes long and is arranged as follows: • Each paper is presented for a maximum of 10 minutes followed by a short Q&A moderated by the onsite chair. • Each poster (if any) is presented for a maximum of 5 minutes followed by a short Q&A moderated by the onsite chair • If there is available time, the onsite chair can open for a general discussion about all presentations before the close of the session. We recommend paper presentations of 8 minutes so that there is sufficient time for Q&As. Due to our very tight schedule no presentation will be allowed to take more than 10 minutes. All authors presenting in parallel sessions are requested to send their slides to the corresponding online chair not later than Oct. 25. Please, note that: • In the program of parallel sessions, presenters are marked in bold and can participate virtually [v] or in person [p]. • All allocated rooms for parallel sessions have an installed PC, projector and live streaming camera. • Access to eduroam will be provided to all on site participants upon arrival to the conference. • All the online presenters need to be familiar with the Zoom as we do not have any extra time between the presentations. • Those presenting online should join their sessions at least 10 minutes before they start.
Program COVID guidelines For those attending in person, the organizers of emma2021 will: Ensure adequate space is available for social distancing in all conference venues and transport Ensure all meals and catering is in line with the Swedish Health Authorities recommendations Ensure hand sanitizer is available on campus and in each of the rooms Jönköping University is monitoring the situation continuously and following the information from the Swedish government and the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
