The ultimate goal for the transport industry is to increase climate protection in the
transport sector and enable sustainable mobility. Among other things, this involves
electrifying all means of public transport even more. Not least because of the cur-
rent political situation, independence from fossil fuels is becoming increasingly im-
portant. For example, the German Federal Government is now planning to do away
with these energy sources by 2035. This goal also has an impact on public transport.
The federal government is already funding bus electrification with €1.25 billion and has
issued funding decisions for more than 1,700 buses in spring 2022. Further funding is
expected in 2022. In the last ten years, companies have gained a lot of experience, but the
challenges of e-mobility remain manifold. At our event, we will take a look at the current
state of technology, depots and workshops as well as the implementation of e-mobili-
ty in rural areas. In addition, speakers will illustrate which fire protection measures and
training for staff are necessary.
Another focus this year: fuel cell vehicles - from technical implementation to refuelling
infrastructure to the procurement of green hydrogen. We will look at other mobility sec-
tors such as aviation and logistics along with the framework conditions under the new
German government. As usual, the VDV Electric Bus Conference and the ElekBu trade fair
will provide help with upcoming infrastructure investments, the choice of energy source
and support programs for your own company. This provides a good platform for informa-
tion, exchange and networking - this year once again in person.

Connection to the public transport is excellent: 250 meters to the S-Bahn station "Sonnenallee". The M41 bus line with a stop right in
front of the hotel provides a connection to the subway network, Potsdamer Platz and the main train station every 5 minutes during
the day and every 10 minutes in the evening. With the "Grenzallee" on/off ramp, the next connection to City Highway 100 is in the
immediate vicinity.
