Product Overview The Mobie™ is a lightweight, space saving foldable mobility scooter that allows you to get around easily and safely. It requires no tools or assembly, and can be easily folded and unfolded in less than a minute. Its compact space saving design provides for easy transport and convenient storage. It fits in the trunk or front/back seat of a car, in a van, boat, bus or train. The Mobie’s lithium battery also conforms to government regulations for safe air travel. Go Twice the Distance The Mobie features an onboard battery backup storage compartment that enables you to safely carry an additional lithium battery onboard. Take longer trips with the peace of mind knowing that you don't have to be concerned about getting stuck or having to push your scooter home. You will now be able to go up to 26 miles in one outing. True Four Wheeled Scooter for added Stability The Mobie was also design and engineered as a true four-wheeled mobility scooter, providing added stability over traditional three wheeled mobility scooters. This design features a wider floorboard which provides more room for those times when you need more space. March 2014 ww.solaxmobility.com ©2014 Solax Mobility

ON THE ROAD AGAIN …… or better said, in my case, "IN THE AIR AGAIN". Thanks to my new Mobie from Solax. Let me tell you why I am so happy about being able to fly again. I can't walk. I have both Parkinson's Disease and severe osteoarthritis in my knees. In 14 years with PD I have become immobile and was confined to a wheel chair about 3 years ago. Traveling by air became a hassle after that until I got my new Mobie. I now travel "the Mobie Way". I transfer from a car or van to the Mobie at the terminal curbside and drive it to the gate stopping along the way anywhere I want in the terminal. I check in with the ticket agent and with the gate agent where the Mobie is tagged and made ready for the cargo section. I pre-board driving my Mobie down the jet way to the inside of the plane close enough to the front seat so I can transfer to that seat on my own. My wife folds the Mobie into its compressed traveling position and gives it to airline personnel who put it in the cargo section. Since it only weighs about 50 pounds, it is easy for one person to handle. When I arrive at my final destination, my Mobie is delivered to the front of the airplane where I am seated. I transfer to it and am on the road again up the jetway. (I use airport furnished wheel chairs for plane changes at intermediate stops.) Airport and airline personnel have been amazed with my Mobie too. On my first trip, the pilot, flight attendant and baggage handler all watched the Mobie being unfolded at my seat, my getting on, turning the key and "taking off up the jetway". My wife told me they all looked at each other in amazement and then at her and she told them "I was off to the races." The Mobie has changed both of our lives for the better! I have had the Mobie less than six months and have traveled to St. Louis and Chicago already and am planning another trip soon to Florida. It is great to be in the air again. M. This Portable Scooter Enabled us to Travel Without Concerns for Mobility We bought this for an upcoming trip in which we will be on a cruise ship and traveling overseas. The Mobie does exactly what we need, folds and unfolds easily like the old Castro couch commercials. Even a child could do it. No pieces to remove or put back, and its lightweight, only 54 pounds so valet and airline personnel complement us on how great it is and easy for them to lift. We have gate checked it on two trips and my wife can ride down the jet way and back out again in the airport. The Mobie is easy to operate and goes fast enough but not too fast to be unsafe. We received free arm rests which installed easily and I bought a second battery, which I would recommend to others as well. It allows you to go without fear of running out of power to return. The scooter has a compartment to hold the second battery but you need to change it with the primary to use it. The folded dimensions make it easy to place in a normal car trunk, under a bus in luggage area and to take with us on sightseeing tours. We chose the Mobie over the Luggie over perceived stability enhancements in the four wheel Mobie design. I have not driven a Luggie, but the Mobie is very stable and my wife loves it. She would like to have a head light, a basket, and a horn. We are told a basket will come soon designed for it, and we plan to get her a horn which will need to be attached and removed when we fold it or open it up. A Must Have for Travel I purchased the Solax Mobie Scooter for my 83 year old mom. We cruise a lot and this has been such a blessing. For air travel my mom is able to ride it all the way to the plane door where I fold it up and they take it and bring it back when the plane lands. The airlines love it because folds like a stroller and is so light weight for the employees to handle. The lithium battery is able to stay with the scooter and there are no parts to remove. Its great on cruise ships because of its size. It is only 16" wide so it's able to fit through any cabin door. We don't have to have a handicapped cabin. Being so light I can lift it and turn it around if she's in a tight space to back up. Love the front bumper and it gives it a nice look. Just seeing the energy she has by not having to walk back and forth on the ship has made cruising so much more fun. This is the best travel scooter and so easy to operate. Wish we had bought it years ago. By Lauara Putnam March 2014 ww.solaxmobility.com ©2014 Solax Mobility
