Bottega Reale – Saperi del Piemonte has won an
unprecedented challenge: it has joined twenty producers,
united by the common aim of working across the food and
wellness sectors to affirm the quality of Piedmontese officinal
herbs through an authentic product. This effort has been
enhanced thanks to the collaboration with the Haute Provence
producers, partners in the cross-border cooperation program
ALCOTRA “Officina Aromataria”.
The identity footprint
Bottega Reale – Saperi del Piemonte is a unique brand, which
concretely redefines the value of quality. Each product is made
by identity raw material. Nothings has been left to chance:
experts from the degree in Herbal Studies of the University of
Torino have selected around thirty raw materials and products
that contain the territorial specificities. These small treasures
have become the thread running through Bottega Reale
products, such as mint, wormwood, camomile, everlasting from
Pancalieri, Alta Langa hazelnuts, Roero’s moscato wine, wild
honey and lavender from the Maritime Alps.

Arquebuse
Tansy is a wild herb with digestive properties and it is
known as “arquebuse” in the Piedmontese dialect. It has
been used to make liquors since the past. The Bottega Reale
Arquebuse is made using ultrasound distillation technology
which allows to keep all the properties of the herbs in the
final extracts.

Roasted hazelnuts
The IGP hazelnut Tonda Gentile Trilobata is grown on
the Alta Langa hills and it has such an intense taste and
aroma that makes it the “best in the world”. It has important
properties, given by the high concentration of vitamins and
monosatured fatty acids. These qualities come from the
peculiar weather conditions and types of soil of the growing
area.

Mint essential oil
Our tri-rectified mint essential oil is extracted from
Peppermint, following a traditional process that has been
handed down to five generation of the Chialva family. Such
a precious raw material is considered to be the best in the
world because of its pleasantness and fine perfume.

Green peas and mint risotto
A special risotto, with a fresh and delicate taste. Mint and
