No returns are allowed without a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) and Original Invoice. No returns on products that have been installed or worn. Freight on
returned items must be prepaid by the customer. No returns after 30 days of receipt. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Any part, which in our opinion, appears to be used
or mishandled, will not be eligible for exchange or refund. All returns must be in clean, re-sellable condition in original packaging. No returns or refunds on “Special” order,

Stroud Safety is the leader in drag chutes and launcher systems. With almost 50
years of experience in parachute design, manufacture and testing, these chutes were
designed from the beginning to be user friendly.
The Stroud Drag Chute is designed to open reliably and softly, pull straight, stop
sooner and pack easily by one person in 4 or 5 minutes. The Stroud system does not
pull the car off the ground. It pulls low and straight back. With its special deployment
system, this chute opens softer and reliably, stopping your car in less distance than
conventional chutes.

The Stroud parachute launchers work ONLY with Stroud chutes. Other brands
of launchers will not work with Stroud chutes. Using other type chutes is VERY

STROUD DRAG CHUTE REPAIR: We service and repair all of our own chutes. There is no charge for us to look at your chute and estimate the cost of repair, or if it is
repairable at all. However, all freight is the responsibility of the customer. Stroud Safety offers custom design and engineering for numerous applications. If you need
something not listed, do not hesitate to call us.
DETERMINING DRAG CHUTE SIZE: Stroud chutes are specifically designed based on vehicle weight and speed. Stroud recommends that customers consult a qualified
technician to confirm the size required for their particular specifications. Use the following charts to help determine what your drag chute needs are going to be.

One pound of FE-36 discharged for every 50 cubic feet of enclosed volume will achieve
a 5% concentration in the air. This is sufficient to extinguish most fires with a substantial
margin of safety. Stroud Safety systems are designed to achieve the concentration within
ten seconds, whereupon combustion cannot occur.
Any size of enclosed area will be protected as long as a 5% concentration of FE-36 is
present. Once the agent is diluted with fresh air to below the 5% concentration, the
system begins to lose its effectiveness.
FE-36 has proven effective on the flammable portions of Class A fires (wood, paper,
etc.), Class B fires (flammable liquids and gases) and Class C fires (electrical). It has
also been found effective on deep-seated Class A fires if sufficient soaking time is
allowed to dissipate the heat.

Stroud Safety accepts U.S. postal money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa/MasterCard, Discover, or American Express as deposits and payments in advance. A
personal check or company check will only be accepted if accompanied with a bank letter certifying that it will be honored under all circumstances. If a bank

RETURN POLICY
No returns allowed without a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) and Original Invoice. No returns on products that have been installed or worn.
Freight on returned items must be prepaid by the customer. No returns after 30 days of receipt. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Any part, which in our
opinion appears to be used or mishandled, will not be eligible for exchange or refund. All returns must be in clean, re-sellable condition in original packaging.

We have found that on most orders, United Parcel Service is the fastest, most economical method. This service usually takes one to four days depending on
