Dear conference participants, Welcome to the 2020 Conference of the Austrian Political Science Association (‘Political Science Day’). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our conference has been moved online. Nevertheless, we have received a large number of paper proposals that will make for a highly interesting and engaging conference experience. The program committee has put together panels covering everything from political theory and international conflict to EU politics and public opinion – and much more. There will also be two panels specifically dedicated to political research related to Covid-19. Despite the unusual circumstances we are thus hopeful that you will enjoy the scientific exchange with scholars from all over Europe. We would like to express our gratitude to Department of Political Science at Central European University and the Departments of Political Science and Government at the University of Vienna for their support in organizing this conference.
