Director's Notes When it comes to pets, there are many things to say. They’re you’re best friend in times of need, they’re the pain in your rear when they chew up the seventh pair of shoes this year. But the most poignant aspect of their existence is their companionship. For many they’re the only face to come home to, but on the other end of it, there are many pets that are not chosen. The misfits. These two themes of having a best friend and being an outsider are what tie this show together. It is a fun romp and it is a dive into impact these relationships have on us as human beings. And to have such a friendly cast to play alongside with this material makes this experience all the more heart warming. Enjoy, Pets -Alexander Zickafoose Creative Team Alexander Zickafoose (Director/Choreographer/Music Director) – Alexander is the current Co-Music Chair of Booker High School VPA, he teaches Choir, Modern Band, and AICE Music.
