2/3 cup golden syrup 1 ½ cups icing sugar mixture
      6 eggs 60g butter, melted
1 cup self raising flour 1 teaspoon honey
1 1/3 cups rolled oats 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 2/3 cups coconut 1 tablespoon hot water (approx)
      60g brown sugar

      TO MAKE THE CAKE

      Melt butter and golden syrup.

Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.

Grease a round cake tin and line base with paper.

In a large bowl mix together the self raising flour, rolled oats, coconut and brown sugar.

Beat the eggs into the cooled butter/golden syrup mixture then add this to the dry ingredients
      and mix together well.

Pour into the cake tin and bake in an oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes or until
      cooked.

      Ice with Honey Icing.

      TO MAKE THE HONEY ICING

In a small bowl, combine icing sugar mixture, butter, honey, vanilla essence, and enough hot
water to make thick, spreadable icing.

      Spread icing over cooled cake.
