VIRTUAL LEARNING To make up school days that are missed, the EVSC utilizes make-up days built into the school calendar or virtual make- up days. Virtual days are used so missed content can be taught as close to the day missed as possible, keeping students on track. Here’s how they work: • A make-up week will be announced by your school. • On Monday of the virtual make-up week, your student’s teacher will assign a lesson. • Your student will have one week to complete the lesson using a computer, tablet or smart phone. • Your student can complete the work at home, or before or after school. • Your student will submit the lesson for a grade. During virtual make-up weeks, schools have extended computer lab times and many community organizations offer facilities with Wi-Fi access and computers students can use to Good Attendance = Success complete the lessons.
