“Slick” is an athletic, well built gelding that will make a nice ranch horse or
head horse prospect. He’s got good bone and good feet, with bloodlines
that give him power and agility. He’s really feely and has some go... a very
sensitive horse, but he’s level headed and honest at the same time. I started
him in the spring as a 4 year old and will have about 4 months riding on him
by sale day. Has lots of outside miles and has roped the heel-o-matic and
ranch roped a couple times, and will do more before sale day. More video

“Sox” is a super fun little heel horse. It would take a lot to make him tired,
you could ranch on him all day then go rope at night, he’s got lots of go
and heart. He’s been started as a tie down horse and wouldn’t take much to
continue on with him in that event, he’s becoming a really solid heel horse,
been hauled and competed on in the heeling at a few rodeos. We’ve rode
him in the mountains and done all aspects of ranch work from branding to
doctoring in the pasture. If you like a horse that will last all day regardless of
what your’e doing this guy is for you.

Pedro is a nice ranch gelding who is very quiet and gentle. Pedro is easy to
catch, loads in a trailer well, is good with his feet and is 100% sound. This
gelding has been used in a feedlot and he has moved cattle, dallied to cattle
in corrals and has roped dummies in an arena. Pedro will go anywhere you
point him and he has no problem crossing obstacles such as railroad tracks
and rides well in the bush. On trail rides he is good with other horses around
him as well as teams and wagons and he is used to dogs. Pedro also can be
driven single or double and was driven on both sides and he was great on

Rebel is a three year old registered APHA mare. She has 50+ rides and will
have more by sale day. Rebel has been rode in open fields and in bush. She
has been used for moving cattle, poning horses and has been exposed to
the barrel pattern. Rebel has done arena work, knows her leads, direct and
indirect reins and has a good stop. She has good ground manners, loads
and trailers well and is good with her feet. Rebel is quick minded and not
spooky but is still young. She is very cowy and quick on her feet. She will
make a great high school rodeo horse and should mature to 15 hands high.
Rebel is well started and ready for a confident rider to take her to the next

Athena is a beautiful 2010, 15 HH buckskin mare. She’s been barrel racing,
spent all last summer moving cattle and occasionally sorting, been to the
mountains multiple times and has recently been introduced to the rope.
She started her barrel racing career in 2019, but 2020 season was missed
due to Covid. She has been lightly patterned on the poles and started over
fences. She loads great, trims/shoes, behaves great in groups or by herself.
She is 100% sound and has very good ground manners making her a safe
horse to have around kids. Athena attended her first show this past fall and
did quite well. She would do well in local shows, 4-H, team penning/sorting,
High School Rodeo/Rodeo Queen, cowboy challenges or just on the ranch,
and is a very pleasurable trail horse. She is not a beginner’s horse, as she has
a tendency to lose confidence in herself during certain stressful situations
and looks to her rider for reassurance. That being said, she requires a
confident intermediate rider. Her current barrel video is a training run
designed to show her correct turns, not for speed. This mare loves to run.

Here is a royally bred gelding that is broke to death, handy and will get the
job done right for you! Robbie was trained and shown by Tyler Darroch,
earning Open NCHA money in his futurity and derby years. He is non pro
friendly as well with his owner showing him last fall. Smart on a cow with a
ton of try. Not only a show horse, Robbie has seen a ton of ranching miles
too. When Covid hit and shows were cancelled last spring, Robbie went to

Nechako D Duncan, 7 year old gelding. AQHA # 5721334. Duncan was
purchased as an un-started 6 year old in 2020, he was started and used on
a working ranch in Northern BC in his first month & was used at branding’s.
Duncan is a pleasure to be around...clips, bathes, hauls, ties well, trimmed
every 5 weeks, Dental, & all vaccine UTD. Duncan was rode the summer
of 2020 5 days a week moving cows for roping & getting a solid reining
foundation. Duncan has a nice stop, turn around, & starting to change leads
nicely. Since Christmas Duncan has been roping the sled, & now in February
is roping both ends confidently. This horse is ridden 4-5 days a week and
will be up until the sale date. Duncan is being started lightly on barrels with
Video Link a solid pattern & riding to the correct position being a must. Duncan is soft,
supple, forward, & very good on his feet. This horse is forward confident
and very quick on his feet. However, very safe and not spooky of anything.
This is the horse that brings the cows in, chases strays and confidently
opens gates, & runs the stripping chute. We have rode many horses out of
this same stud and they all go on to perform either roping, barrels, ranch

2015 AQHA palomino gelding stands 14.3 hh. “Hashbrown” has a
gentle disposition and has filled the all around horse role. We have used
“Hashbrown” for ranch work, doctoring cattle, trail riding in the mountains,
turn back horse in the cutting practice pen and penning cattle at the
auction market. He neck reins and is a smooth moving horse. Can rise up a
level for a advanced rider while also being a trail horse for a green rider. With

“Joey” is sired by Pegasus (Playgun) who had $55K+ in cutting earnings and
out of a daughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey who successfully showed as a
Reiner. He spent almost a year with Cowhorse Trainer, Kent Williamson. He
was shown as a 3 year old in the Snaffle Bit Futurities in BC and AB and has
approximately $1100 in NRCHA earnings. Joey has been roped off in real life
situations (but not out of the box), ponied young colts just entering their
training and attended several brandings. He is calm and quiet around the
cows and bold minded. He’s also been extensively ridden outside, alone and
in groups and he’s quiet and calm and easy to work with on the trail. He’s
been through plenty of rivers and is just generally a really nice go-to horse
to have around. He can sit for a month or two and you can pretty well jump
back on and go back to work. He does not require any maintenance. He’s
never been injected. He does have a scar on the fetlock of his hind foot from

It’s only been cosmetic. Put him back to work as a Reined Cow Horse, or

NRHCA earnings. He could definitely carry on as a cowhorse but with his

Tom Cat is a very gentle step on and go gelding who I’ve used for all ranch
chores. A direct son of 3x AQHA world champ Sophisticated Catt (LTE
$192,509), he’s a nice little ranch horse. He’s drug a bunch of calves to the
fire and treated hundreds of grass cattle. I’ve used Tom Cat extensively at
the sale barn sorting and penning calves, he really watches cattle and is
automatic on a gate. Tom Cat is a smaller gelding with a ton of try, he’s
strong from the horn and has been tied off to big critters and got along
great. He’s awesome to lay one down and treat by yourself. He is extremely
confident on the trail and will ride wherever you point him. He has been
on numerous trips to the mountains where he navigates deadfall, bogs

15-year-old papered a AQHA quarter horse mare. She is a fancy palomino
roan colour and very easy to handle. She is extremely versatile as she
has been used as a lesson horse for kids learning to ride, ridden in the
mountains, used to check cattle on pasture, used for checking sheep on
pasture, used for sorting cow calf pairs at brandings, has been ridden at a
few gymkhanas, does have some roping experience with the heelomatic.
She loads in the trailer great, is easy to bath, comes one called in from the
pasture, stands great for the farrier, has no quirks or issues whatsoever.
She stands at a mounting block and you can mount or dismount her from

had plenty of training over the years, exposed to many situations and has
buttons. She is very handy and catty on her feet when asked however her
natural inclination is not to run or move very fast. She originally came from
the USA (Wisconsin) and I’m happy to pass along that contact information
of the original breeder; her dam is a big blue roan mare and her sire was a
cremello; she has thrown a variety of colors in the few colts she’s had - she’s
a good producer and a very good (protective) mother. She is best suited for
someone with confidence - I don’t feel she would do well with someone
that was very nervous and a “tight” rider; I have had quite a few beginners
ride her over the years however they were calm and relaxed kids.

“Sorley” is a 19 year old AQHA registered Quarter Horse. He’s tried and
tested; he has been used in 4-H, moved cattle, loads great and is versatile
with anyone. Sorley has been on our place since 2006. He pulls the kids
with a sleigh, good in a harness, pulls logs out of the bush and although
he has never been in competitive roping we have roped off him at home.
He’s good with his feet, great around other horses (not the dominant type),
stands well when mounted, bathed or groomed. No spook, buck or bolt and
has been through bomb proofing clinics at 4H. Sorely is really great and our
hope is the next owner will get more use out of him, Sorley has had many

Zbar Decked out Chex (“Rocky”) is a real eye catcher. He’s got some
athleticism to him, a gorgeous head, good bone and feet, a nice hip and is
a really smooth mover. I started him in the summer as a 3 year old and he
will have about 90 rides on him by sale day. He was nice to start, has a good
mind on him. Been ridden outside lots and wasn’t bothered by much from

This is a stout, flashy, athletic gelding that has all the potential in the world.
He will step out and cover ground in the pasture and will go all day. I have
been roping the heel O matic and have started roping some slow steers.
Also have done some break away roping on the dummy. Lopes around nice
both leads, nice stop and turn around. Lots of outside and inside miles. He
is selling as grade but can be registered if you wish to spend the money.
Don’t let his height trick you he thinks he stands 15.1. No buck, bolt, or rear.

“Trip” is an easy going gentle, safe trustworthy gelding. He is an awesome
head horse that will suit a number 3 and higher header, he is good in the
box, scores great has a lot of run and with his short back allows him to have
very fast feet. He is strong on the horn and faces very smooth and quick.
As a heel horse he is about as honest as they come stands in the box quiet,
can run, and rates the turn well. He lets you see the feet easy and has a nice
smooth stop. Trip has been hauled and won on in both the heading and the
heeling. We have started to breakaway on this horse as well and he is very
talented in this event. he stands in the corner calm and leaves flat. He gets
to your shot fast stays free and has a big stop! Trip has done all aspects of
ranch work and is a pleasure to ride out in the open! He is a smooth traveller

Jerry is a 15.3 HH 7 year old gelding. He is a kind and gentle family horse.
Great on trails, pony other horses, move cattle or whatever you would like
to do, as well as having a solid barrel pattern. He runs barrels in the 2-3D,
he really wants to turn and is a push style horse. I have enjoyed hauling
him around to jackpots, he hauls alone or with others. Jerry is the horse we
pull from the pasture for green riders, whether he’s been in the pasture 2
months or 2 days. Cinch up and hop on. No buck or any other shenanigans.

Zeus is a 13 yr old, big boned 16hh roan gelding. This horse is built sturdy
with lots of life left, and is suitable for the entire family! Zeus is a very
straightforward ride; he has countless trail miles and rides out alone or with
others. He has moved cows, roped, ponied colts, been ridden by kids, and
been played with on the barrel and poles. We have shot guns off of him,
ridden him in a halter, pushed bush, etc, this horse is solid and honest. He
is the same horse whether you ride every day or once a year- just hop on
and go! Zeus is a really special horse- I can not say enough good about him,

He is fully sound and healthy, and is a barefoot, no maintenance type. His
deworming, feet and vaccinations are UTD. I am more than happy to answer
