Some racing highlights from the recent New Zealand Schools Cycling Championships early in October. The day was off to a less than stellar start weather-wise but that didn't dampen the spirits or enthusiasm of the young people competing on the day. photographs from the www.facebook.com/CyclingNZLSchools Volunteer Moment of the Month Hayden Paddon dropped in for a few hours to take some laps recently and graciously took a few minutes out of his busy schedule to sign autographs and have a photo taken with two of our Friday volunteers - Carla and Trent. Trent started volunteering for us earlier this year and has proven himself to be a dedicated and dependable addition to our Friday Race Test Day team. Trent enjoys watching the drivers and being a part of the Ruapuna Motorsport Park environment, so it was a real treat to arrange for him to have a photo taken with one of his racing heroes. Keep up the good work Trent!
Ramblings From the Captain’s Chair It’s that time of year again, where so much is the park. These vehicles had been competing in happening in the world of motorsport it’s hard to the event.
