For over 20 years, NYIB has been dedicated to presenting
the highest level of education and technology in the
Esthetic (Skin Care & Makeup) and Nail Specialty fields.
The instructors at New York Institute of Beauty are
fully licensed professionals with vast experience and
knowledge in their fields. Our instructors excel in
both academic and practical instruction. Many of our
instructors also serve as New York State Board License
Examiners, so you’re sure to learn all that is necessary
to pass a New York State License Examination. Our instructors will serve as mentors and role

When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, the whole world had to adapt to a new normal. Here
at New York Institute of Beauty, we have been successful at not only adapting to change
but thriving. With ever developing improvements, NYIB has been able to continue to
provide an educational experience that reflects the quality and standard we want for our
students, graduates, and staff. We look forward to another year of helping future Beauty
Professionals follow their passion!
ADMISSIONS
We now offer both Virtual and On-Campus Interviews. Prospective students can meet our
Education Team from the comfort of their own home or schedule a time to visit around our
campus. Our Admissions Team is there to assist you in every step of the way to help you
follow your passion.
DISTANCE EDUCATION
At NYIB, students experience a true hybrid-style of learning with rotating weeks of virtual
and on-site learning from the beginning! With a combination of live video sessions, our
private NYIB app, and the Digital Platform by Milady, students are able to gain their theory
knowledge of the Esthetics industry from home one week, with their following week of
hands-on skills education occurring on campus! During the on-site skills portion of their
Esthetics or Advanced Esthetics Programs, students have the ability to gain the hands on
skills necessary to succeed out in the industry, as well as prepare for their State Board
Practical examinations.
STUDY GROUPS
NYIB Instructors hold voluntary study groups monthly to allow students the opportunity to
learn even more about the topics taught in the classroom. Students are able to send their
questions in ahead of time and have one on one conversations with industry professionals.
LIVE EVENTS/WORKSHOPS
NYIB, in partnership with many amazing companies from the Beauty and Esthetic Industry,
host multiple live events and workshops each month. Students and graduates are invited to
participate, gain knowledge in many varying aspects of the industry, and build networking
relationships. These opportunities occur both virtually and/or on site!
POST-GRADUATION
NYIB invites their graduates to return for further training and assistance. Employment
assistance is offered for life, with a private Job Board accessible only to NYIB students and
graduates, as well as multiple Career Nights held each year.

with an emphasis on the techniques required today in the
beauty, entertainment and fashion industries. Regardless
of which of these areas you intend to work in, mastery of
beauty makeup is a must. In this course you will start by
learning facial analysis, base matching and application,
