Our vision The future of enterprise at Nottingham Trent University The Dryden Enterprise Centre (DEC) Nottingham Trent University is creating a dynamic and exciting community for both entrepreneurs and growing SME businesses that want to collaborate with the university, tapping into our knowledge base and expertise. Our new centre will accommodate a full range businesses sizes, from start-up to established SME’s looking for growth. Combining high-quality facilities in a city-centre location and an extensive business support offer, the DEC will provide businesses with the help and support they need to develop and grow. Until March 2022, our programme will be part funded by the European Regional Development fund. We will be using this funding to directly support enterprises in the Nottingham region by delivering an enterprise support programme of mentoring and events as part of the centre’s activity. The building is scheduled to open Spring 2021. This project has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

About the centre Who is the centre for? Student, graduate and local entrepreneurs Through continued support from NTU Enterprise and wider NTU teams such as those in the Nottingham Business School, the DEC will support students, graduates and entrepreneurs to help grow sustainable businesses in their early stages. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) The DEC will offer co-location for SMEs who are seeking to benefit from a relationship with the University along with gaining access to NTU’s comprehensive suite of business support programmes, facilities and enterprise support.

Dedicated desk packages Our dedicated desk packages provide access to all the centre services and benefits along with a space to claim as your own. Desk membership is ideal for those who don’t feel like they need an office or want to offer team members access to the centre. Office packages Our offices come in a range of varying sizes. We will tailor a package to suit your business needs. All our office packages provide members with 24-hour access to all the services that the DEC has to offer. Events and conferencing From seminars, to workshops, away days to conferences, the DEC can host your event. With a dedicated support team available, the DEC can provide city-centre, business focussed facilities in a hub of enterprise activity. Flexible event spaces The centre has a range of seminar and event spaces across the ground and first floor of the building. Accommodating groups of different sizes, our rooms provide a range of seating options and layouts to suit your event needs. Meeting rooms Meetings rooms can be booked for both members of the centre and external guests. Our facilities provide a professional space for all your meeting needs.
