Who We Are Northern Will County Special Recreation Association (NWCSRA) provides year-round recreation programs and services for children, teens and adults with special needs and abilities. Stress Reduction NWCSRA’s Sensory Oasis is a specially designed, safe, and supportive environment that allows participants with a variety of ability levels to engage Improved Social Skills their senses, explore, and interact without risk. Every session is tailored by an NWCSRA team member toward a participant’s goals and responsiveness to sensory stimuli. Each punch card is good for 5 half-hour sessions in the Improved Concentration sensory room at either the Romeoville or Bolingbrook location. The Bolingbrook location is geared toward adults & teens. Adult Programs Adult Day Program NWCSRA’s Adult Day Program is designed to meet the needs of young adults with disabilities 18 years and older that are no longer serviced through the school district. Year-round social and recreational activities are offered to enhance the quality of life of our participants. The program focuses on positive peer interactions, community integration, leisure independence, and basic life skills. New families & participants are welcome to schedule an appointment to tour and observe the program.
