Before we entered lockdown and social distancing, so many wonderful productions had taken place. Thanks Our virtual Festival has brought new challenges and required a different approach. Before the physical event was cancelled, much work had gone into the planning of the Festival – the first meeting is always a few days after the previous Festival ends. For both the original planning and the organisation of the virtual event, I would like to thank the following: Greg Dexter and the team at the Radlett Theatre Rob Williams of Head Office for his expertise in preparing the layout for the brochure and the certificates Dale Freeman, COO of NODA, for his help and guidance And finally the Events Steering Committee of Annie Hertler-Smith, Pam Armstrong, Paul Holgate and Jackie Lack. Of course, this Festival is just the culmination of our year. I would like to thank the special team who make NODA London run so smoothly across the whole of the year; that is of course, the excellent NODA London Regional Committee, the officers and your Regional Representatives. I would also like to thank their partners and families, for letting me steal their valuable time. As you all know, I am regretfully stepping back from being London Councillor in September 2020. I wish my successor, Pam Armstrong every success. She will have my full support. Finally, my own special thanks to Karen, Katie and Charlotte, who often don’t see me as much as they should. Come September, they may change their minds!!
