NIG FIRST – CERT CII TRAINING WHAT IS IT? Building on the success of previous years NIG are offering webinar based learning across three Cert CII modules (IF1, IF2, IF8). How will this work These will be interactive webinar sessions delivered online by expert trainers. Upon completion of all the modules and 8-12 weekly workshops per module, delegates will complete a mock exam followed by an optional face to face revision and exam day in London. We look forward to continuing our 95% pass rate this year. Who is it aimed at This programme is aimed at insurance professionals wanting to become CII certified, ideally working within a Commercial Insurance environment for example Account Executives and Account Handlers. Our Cert CII training CERT CII features online DATE TIME EXAM DATE MODULE webinar sessions WEEKLY on a Friday beginning on 3rd May 10am - Friday 26th July 2019 blended with face to Cohort 1 2019, running for a 12 week period 12pm Revision session (am) Exam (pm) face learning. These IF1* WEEKLY on a Friday beginning on 11th 1pm - Friday 17th January 2020 are 8-12 weeks long Cohort 2 October 2019, running for a 12 week period 3pm Revision session (am) Exam (pm) with a mock exam, WEEKLY on a Friday beginning on 2nd 10am - Friday 11th October 2019 revision and exam Cohort 1 August 2019, running for a 10 week period 12pm Revision session (am) Exam (pm) day in London. We have introduced short, sharp 1 hour sessions over 2019 covering all our key products. These webinars will be delivered by our internal Regional Underwriters and are aimed to offer a good introduction of the covers NIG provide on each product in an understanding to grow our risk appetite. Detailed information on each product generally within the insurance market. This in turn should support the conversations your staff have with your customers as well as NIG Underwriters. This is a tailored training day and networking evening hosted by NIG at an exclusive London venue, with the aim of maintaining the Future Leaders’ training, learning and coaching. This event provides a day of training for all past Future Leader delegates followed by a drinks reception. This year we have trainer and coach Helen Clough, delivering a session around the topic of ‘Change Leadership’. NIG listened to our requirements, after a few open discussions the trainer worked with my team, heard our queries and produced a bespoke and interactive training session. How did this improve my business? We have seen a 11% growth in GWP across the commercial business following the sales training activity that took place at our offices. This has been driven by a combination of increased cover at renewal through a better understanding of customer needs and increased new business conversions due to deeper relationships. From small quick wins to more longer term strategic successes, the tips, support and training that was provided has most definitely had a positive impact on our business, our ability to win clients and maximise our position in the market. NIG FIRST FORWARD PROGRAMME WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE? The nominations window is open from Monday 2nd September 2019 and closes on Friday 20th September 2019. Selection process: successful candidates will be notified by end of September. Places are limited so if required psychometric testing will take place as a means of benchmarking to select candidates. However, costs will be calculated in line with our internal costing model. We will not charge for any scoping work required for us to pull together our proposal.
