1.4 OUR HR TEAM NEWBUILD EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM Newbuild and Innovation is always looking for good people, and who knows good people better than our own talent. Research has shown, and our own experience supports, that new hires who come into a company through employee referrals are excellent contributors, stay with the company longer and are more cost-effective recruits. That’s where you come in! If you know someone who would be a good addition to the Newbuild and Innovation team, you may be awarded a referral bonus of $500.00- $1,000.00 (less taxes) if you refer a candidate and he or she is hired. Contact Mary Gutierrez de Pineres, Talent Acquisition Associate, today to learn more about the program rules! 42

3.5 AEP SYSTEM OVERVIEW Since January 2015, ECA zones were set with a cap of 0.1% sulfur limit, consequently, the regulations required our vessels to burn at a maximum of 0.1% sulfur while in European ports. In addition, a global cap is set to go into effect in 2020 requiring all vessels to burn fuel at a maximum of 0.5% sulfur. The AEP initiative will allow for fleet wide compliance by 2020 and mitigation of substantial incremental fuel costs. This system helps remove sulfur from the exhaust allowing us to remain compliant . 52
