BODY SPECIFICATIONS

BATTERY MOUNTING
Skirt-mounted battery box. This compartment will incorporate chassis, house and generator batteries.
Box includes an all-aluminum roller bearing slide-out tray with a 1000 lb. capacity. Battery tray will have
the capability of latching when extended and retracted. The tray will include a full width pull handle
with an integrated latch. (NO EXCEPTIONS, Vendor must include photos of this style tray for this bid).
Box must be back vented to allow off-gassing of batteries. Batteries will be secured in box using an
adjustable aluminum angled bracket.

BUMPERS
Front: The front bumper is an integral part of the front fiberglass cap and reinforced with 2” x 2” steel
tubing and ¼” x 4” plate steel connected directly to the frame rails. (NO EXCEPTIONS, Vendor must
include photos of this style bumper without the front cap installed)

Rear: The rear bumper is 4” deep 6” high .25” thick steel tubing with contour angled end caps filled
solid. Bumper will be mounted directly to the frame rails and painted to match the body.

MSV custom fiberglass and aluminum body; body framework will be a welded aluminum design.
Sidewall horizontal and vertical structure will be 2” x 2” x .125” aluminum tubing. All horizontal and
vertical structures to be welded top and bottom. All vertical tubing will be spaced on 16” centers.
Insulation will be 2” Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). Interior sub wall to be 3/16” Luan grade plywood,
(finished wall will be added). The exterior will be sheeting with .125” fiberglass gel-coating skin.
Exterior panel’s smooth fiberglass will go through a lamination process that will include a vacuum
bonding procedure. Lower skirt panels will be constructed of aluminum sheeting with a low-profile rub
rail between the upper body panel and lower skirt panel.

Roof will be constructed of 2” x 2” x .125” aluminum tubing on 16” centers with a truss system forming a
contour exterior. Insulation will be 3” Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). Interior sub wall to be 3/16” Luan
grade plywood, (finished wall will be added). The exterior will be .063 aluminum sheeting will go
through a lamination process that will include a vacuum bonding procedure.

Floor will be constructed of 2” x 2” x .125” aluminum tubing on 12” centers. Insulation will be 2”
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). .040 aluminum sheeting will be installed on both the underside and
interior floor structure. 3/4” Luan grade plywood sub-floor will be installed.

Mounting:
0.25 Aluminum tubular trusses will be used. The body longitudinal substructure shall be bolted to the
chassis utilizing full floating rubber mounting pucks. The number and placement of full floating body
isolation mounts shall be determined by final design weight of the body structure, the weight ratings of
the mounts and the chassis manufacturer’s recommendations found in his body builder’s manual.

Cap:
The front of the vehicle shall have a custom fiberglass cap. Cap will be specifically constructed to match
the contours on the chassis to form a continuous aerodynamic structure. “Box Trucks” and/or fiberglass
pieces, wind dams or fairings not specifically designed to fit the chassis are not acceptable.

Lighting:
    • Headlights: Dual Clear Lens High Beam 90mm H9 65W 12v Halogen with complex.
    • LED Front: Phantom III amber oval 48 diode LED park/turn with chrome rim.
    • LED Middle Clearance/Marker Lights: Amber 2 round 9 diode LED marker/clearance light clear
        lens.
    • LED Top Marker Lights: Phantom II Amber 5 diode LED flush mount marker/clearance light with
        chrome bezel and clear lens.
    • LED Stop/Tail/Back-up lights: Three (3) 8 ¼” x 5 ¼” LED lamp assemblies
    • License plate light

All lights must comply with FMVSS 108. All exterior lighting will be D.O.T. approved and feature LED
lighting as indicated above. Designs which do not meet all D.O.T. lighting requirements are not
acceptable.

DASHBOARD
Dashboard shall be angled for maximum visibility. Cup holder inserts shall be cut into the dash for driver
and passenger.

DOORS
Driver’s door to be approximately 32.5” wide x 70.5” high, forward stainless steel full length piano hinge,
outward opening sedan door. Door includes split sash glass mounted in the upper section of the door:
laminated, tinted to 70% light transmission, 23.75” wide x 34.5” high. Steps, minimum 12” X 5 ½”, to be

custom recessed into side body custom designed for this chassis/body combination. A 36” vertical, one-
piece grab rail will be installed on the exterior of the body to access in entering the vehicle. Body must
include a driver’s emergency egress door. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Front entrance door to be approximately 32.5” wide x 91” high, forward stainless steel full length piano
hinge, outward opening sedan door. Door includes split sash glass mounted in the upper section of the
door: laminated, tinted to 70% light transmission, 23.75” wide x 34.5” high. Tinted solid stationary glass
mounted in the lower section of the door, 23.75” wide x 30” high, this is safety feature to be able to
view patrons and roadside curb. Included will be a two-step step-well with a minimum riser height of
10” and a minimum tread depth of 10”. A heavy-duty dual electric auxiliary step with ground effect light
will be installed. Steps shall be finished with a non-skid surface and a safety yellow, non-skid front strip.
Steps shall include an audible/visual indicator system to warn the driver that the step is extended when
the ignition key is activated. Steps shall be controlled at the driver’s area. A 36” vertical, one-piece grab
rail will be installed on the exterior of the body to access in entering the vehicle.

Center entrance door to be approximately 32” wide x 80” high, forward stainless steel full length piano
hinge, outward opening sedan door. Door includes split tinted solid stationary glass mounted in the
upper section of the door, 17.5” wide x 19.5” high. Center entrance door shall have exterior fold down
steps with detachable handrail system. This design provides a flat floor and eliminates the hazard of an
interior step-well. The fold down steps shall be stowed in an underbelly storage compartment with
adequate structural reinforcement to support a weight of occupants entering and exiting vehicle. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)

All doors to be equipped with pneumatic door closers. The pneumatic closer will assist in closing the
door as well as hold the door open at a 90-degree angle. All doors shall feature a heavy-duty Trimark
positive acting latch utilizing a threaded rod and dual nader-style pins, with a continuous tubular
neoprene gasket to ensure a positive seal and prevent leaks. Doors will consist of extruded aluminum
frame with smooth exterior sheeting and interior removable aluminum access panel for door latch
lubrication and adjustment.

ELECTRICAL
Access: Main body wiring harness shall be fully accessible via removable raceways, and removable
shelves. The wiring harness shall be protected by automatic reset circuit breakers.

Wiring shall be color-coded and numbered and flame retardant.

All wires passing through metal openings are protected by a grommet. All wiring is color coded and
numbered.

FUEL TANK OPENING
Exterior fuel tank opening shall have cast products door with lock. Interior access plate shall be readily
available for servicing.

MIRRORS
Exterior: Mirror system shall be PerformaStyle by Rosco inclusive of a 7.5” x 12.0” h flat lens, and 7.3” w
x 5.2” h convex lens, both remote control in 4 directions and heated. The system shall be fully shrouded
and finished in black with no exposed wiring, tubular arm or metal base structure.
The mirror arm shall be permitted to break-away in two directions so as to avoid permanent damage to
the vehicle when the mirror is struck by an object. The mirror shall be FMVSS/CMVSS compliant.

MUD FLAPS
Rubber mud flaps for front and rear wheels shall be provided.

PAINT
Vehicle shall be painted white using the PPG Delfleet® Essentials automotive paint system. All painted
surfaces are first prepared for a 2-coat priming system. The first PPG Delfleet® Essentials wash primer is
a two-component acid-containing primer. The second primer coat is Evercoat® Slick Sand™ high solids
polyester based primer surfacer. Before applying paint, the body is cleaned with PPG Deltron® Wax and
Grease Remover then prepared with PPG Deltron® Multi-Prep™. After cleaning Delfleet® ESSS single
stage polyurethane enamel is applied. A minimum of 2 coats of polyurethane enamel will be applied.
This a 3 part 6:1:1 (enamel: hardener: activator) polyurethane enamel. No thinners or reducers are used
in the polyurethane enamel. All components are force dried at the manufacturer suggested 140°F (60°C)
surface temperature. All sprayed on coatings are applied in an appropriate down draft paint booth.

After the body and components have been assembled they shall be disassembled prior to painting to
ensure there is finished paint beneath all removable components.

Paint runs, sags, orange peel, “fish eyes”, etc.., and any other imperfection or lack of complete coverage
of paints or coatings are unacceptable (NO EXCEPTIONS).

SEATING
Driver and passenger seats shall be Flexsteel deluxe adjustable high back, armrest and includes 6-
position adjustment. Tilt adjustment control is mounted on the right side of the driver’s seat. Seat
cushion has four (4) position adjustments, forward and aft adjustment by fingertip control.

SLIDE-OUTS
Two (2) slide-outs: approximately 72”H x 13’L 30” D flat floor slide-out (NO EXCEPTIONS) will be
installed on driver and passenger sides of vehicle respectively.

Systems shall be electric/hydraulic operated utilizing a level-in/level-out system. As specified, must
include a flat-floor transition between main vehicle area and room extension to allow for chairs to easily
roll across threshold. Slide out controls shall be located in driver area. Wiring harnesses shall not be
exposed anywhere inside the vehicle. All slide-outs shall have an awning topper, neoprene gaskets for
proper sealing. As indicated in the above body specifications, this vehicle must have a certification
demonstrating a passing score for FMVSS crush testing on similar body construction. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

STORAGE COMPARTMENTS
Compartments to be installed for storage of generator, batteries, and shoreline.

Two (2) aluminum exterior compartments (passenger side) will be designed and built to accommodate
customer provided equipment.

One (1) additional exterior compartment on passenger side slide-out wall of vehicle, with flip-up door to
house a 32” television.

One (1) additional exterior compartment on passenger side of vehicle, behind the rear entry door.
Inside this area will be a 12-handgun secured locker system.

These compartments will be securely tied into body framework to avoid damage to the compartments
and the equipment by road vibration and road surface faults. The latches will be locking Tri-Mark
latches, keyed alike. All doors shall feature a heavy-duty Tri-Mark positive acting latch utilizing a

threaded rod and dual nader-style pins, with a continuous tubular neoprene gasket to ensure a positive
seal and prevent leaks. Doors will consist of extruded aluminum frame with smooth exterior sheeting
and interior removable aluminum access panel for door latch lubrication and adjustment.
Compartments will be a sweep out design with ventilation. All doors to include stainless steel full length
piano hinges.

WHEEL WELL MOLDING
Exterior wheel well splash moldings shall be furnished at the axles and shall be pre-molded and
contoured to conform to the wheel well cutouts.

CONVERSION PACKAGE

AUDIO/VIDEO
One (1) AM/FM/CD player installed in cab with eight (8) interior ceiling mounted speakers.

One (1) Winegard, or equal, Omni-directional Local TV Access Antenna

Four (4) exterior marine type speakers installed on passenger side of vehicle, routed through amplifier
and connected to both the exterior LCD TV and exterior microphone.

Microphone jack installed in exterior television compartment and unidirectional microphone provided.
Speaker jack also provided for customer to connect additional PA type speakers to system.

One (1) 32” LCD TV installed in weatherproof compartment on passenger side of vehicle.

Two (2) 22” LCD TVs installed in the interior of vehicle, actual locations to be determined during pre-
production meeting.

One (1) 22” Monitor installed at front operator workstation for monitoring mast camera system.

One (1) DVD player installed and routed to play on both interior (2) and exterior (1) televisions
respectively.

One (1) 12-port CAT6 patch panel shall be provided in the IT cabinet.

Nine (9) CAT6 outlets shall be installed, locations reflected in approved CAD drawings.

AWNING
Two (2) WeatherPro powered awnings will be installed. Customer to choose color from manufacturer’s
selections after award of bid.

CABINETRY - FINISH
All interior cabinetry and countertops shall be finished using a High impact laminate. All color selections
to be chosen by customer upon final award of contract.

CABINETRY – CONSTRUCTION
The use of particle board or MDF for cabinetry and walls is unacceptable. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Additionally
all wood products must be completely Formaldehyde-Free, non-toxic, LEED and CARB compliant. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)

All interior cabinets shall be constructed using cabinet grade, hardwood veneer plywood. Plywood shall
be constructed using cross-grain and long-grain Poplar and Fir core layers, sanded to ensure maximum
smoothness.

Interior cabinetry must be constructed from pre-engineered components produced by a CNC router,
with accuracy to design of +/-.0001”. Component design files must be kept by the vendor for a
minimum of 15 years to allow for identical field replacement should such become necessary. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)

All exposed edges shall have a 3mm, hardened PVC edgeband applied to ensure durability and superior
aesthetical qualities. Banding shall be applied using AD-20, EVA Ethylene – Vinylacetate based adhesive
and using only machinery. Laminate edge banding will not be considered.

Storage cabinets will be constructed according to final floorplan.
Self-Closing Drawers must have smooth self-closing mechanisms, full extension drawer slides and
double-wall brushed stainless steel sides. Two-dimensional drawer front adjustments and dynamic load
capacity of 75lb or 110lb minimum is required.

Side-Swing Doors: All side-swing door assemblies must feature all metal, nickel plated hinge, with 110°
opening angle and three-dimensional adjustment capability. Doors shall be gradual self-closing,
adjusted to operate smoothly and gradually.

Upper Doors: Shall feature easy lift-up and silent self-closing door hardware, tool-less lever arms and
doors capable of snapping into place and featuring three-dimensional cam adjustments for precise
positioning and tension settings.

All latches shall be flush-mounted Southco or approved equal. Final layout to be determined upon
award of bid

CEILING
Ceiling must be a drop style ceiling with ducted air conditioning vents and interior lights must be
recessed in the ceiling. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Acoustical Loop Pile Carpet to be installed throughout the
vehicle with easily accessible wire chases along perimeter of ceiling. Customer shall choose color and
material from manufacturer’s selections.

CLOCKS
Vehicle shall be equipped with three (3) BRG Precision LED clocks, one being a CDMA driven master and
two slaves. Locations shall be determined by customer after final award.

COMMUNICATIONS
PHONE
   • Two (2) Panasonic cordless DECT 6.0 phones installed, one in magistrate’s office and the other in
      front operator area.
   • One (1) Telular (Verizon) system shall be provided and installed with above phones.

RADIO
   • Four (4) radio preps installed, with antenna and power lead. Locations pre-determined by
      customer upon award.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Shall be a 120/240 VAC system rated for anticipated conversion load. System shall include 125A rated
distribution panel configured with UL LED listed type magnetic/hydraulic circuit breakers.

System shall be wired using UL approved, tinned copper multi-stranded boat cable. All wiring shall be
color-coded: black = hot, white = neutral and green = ground. Additionally, wiring shall be labeled with
machine-generated, self-laminating labels, listing circuit number and/or designation at all termination
points. All wiring shall adhere to applicable NEC and FMVSS regulations.

Wiring shall be supported on 20” to 24” centers with insulated, non-conductive clamps. Wire bundles
shall be tied with trimmed nylon ties. Extreme care shall be taken to prevent chafing, abrasion, and
exposure to high heat. Wiring run in external areas shall be encased in conduit to further protect
against damage.

Sixteen (16) 120v duplex receptacles with stainless covers.

Six (6) inverter protected duplex receptacles (orange) with stainless covers.

2000W Inverter shall be installed and be sufficient enough to maintain clean power to a minimum of six
breath test machines. Two (2) Group 8D batteries shall be connected to supply power to the inverter.

Four (4) GFCI exterior with weather resistance cover shall be installed.

Ten (10) 12 VDC receptacles shall be installed.

DC Electrical System:
Shall be a 12 VDC system rated for anticipated conversion load. System shall include a 125A rated
distribution panel configured with UL listed type magnetic/hydraulic circuit breakers with LED indicators
to show activation. System will include a 12V voltmeter. Circuit breaker functions shall be clearly
designated by printed labels. Wiring shall be labeled with machine-generated, self-laminating labels,
listing circuit number and/or designation at all termination points.

One (1) Group 24 lead acid battery shall be installed and wired only for the on-board generator.
Additional auxiliary battery system shall include Four (4) 8D deep-cycle batteries mounted in an exterior
compartment (or suitable alternative). Two batteries shall be for inverter and two for auxiliary 12v
systems. One (1) 100 amp, three-stage, fully regulated battery charger wired to the generator and/or
shore cord. Battery charger must be fully regulated to prevent battery overcharging.

Charging system shall include provisions for automatic and manual battery bank merging to provide
redundant battery power for vehicle and generator starting. System shall provide battery isolation
during operation periods when the vehicle engine is not running to prevent depletion of both battery
systems.

Wiring Requirements:
All high-current battery cabling shall utilize full-length cable runs sized to load; splices are not
acceptable. Terminal ends shall be crimped with manufacturer recommended tooling and sealed using
color-coded wrap.

All added wiring for 12VDC load runs shall be AWG 8, 10, 12, and 14, and conform to MIL-W-1678D type
D. Wire terminals used shall conform to MIL-T-7928. Terminals shall be insulated with insulation grip,
Type II, Class 2, and crimped with tolling recommended by manufacturer.

All added wiring shall be supported on 12” centers and bundles shall be tied with trimmed nylon ties.
Entire system shall be installed to modern US automotive standards using best practices available at
time of installation. Plastic grommets and/or dielectric sealants shall be used to protect wiring and/or
looms where they pass through sheet metal, bulkheads, or structural supports. Convoluted polyethylene
tubing shall be used to protect against chafing and abrasion where required. Extreme care shall be
exercised to provide for easy serviceability of the system in future years. Extreme care shall be taken to
avoid the engine manifold, engine exhaust, muffler, or any high-heat items that may subject the wiring
to severe overheating during long periods of operation. These shall be the minimum acceptable wiring
standards.

FLOOR COVERING
Install commercial-grade Altro rubber floor covering on top of ¾” plywood. Customer will choose from a
selection of colors upon award.

FLOORPLAN
Custom floorplan designed and engineered using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) technology. Floorplan
will be provided on Size B paper and designed in 3/8” scale. CAD technology will be capable of both
two-dimensional line drawings as well as computer simulated three dimensional renderings including
conceptual interior colors and ergonomic simulation. Floorplan will include top view, interior exterior
side views.

Vendor must provide CAD drawings of vehicle in near likeness and at time of bid, thus showing their
capability to meet these requirements. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Specific views must include:

Electrical (as built) schematics/drawings will be provided upon delivery of vehicle.

GENERATOR
24 kW Tier 4 Diesel Generator to be installed. Generator fuel line will be tied into the existing chassis
fuel tank. This fuel line will be installed approximately ¼ off the bottom of the fuel tank. This is to assure
the chassis fuel tank cannot be run out of fuel totally. Exhaust to be routed to the rear of the vehicle.

The generator shall be mounted beneath the vehicle utilizing a “slide-out tray” mounting frame system
with a front access door set. Access to the sides and rear of the generator shall be via removable sound
attenuation panels. General generator installation shall be in full accordance with manufacturer’s
recommendations including any air flow restrictions associated with the installation method.

GENERATOR COMPARTMENT
An aluminum compartment will be designed and built to accommodate the required generator. The
compartment will be securely tied into body framework to avoid damage to the compartment and the
equipment by road vibration and road surface faults. Generator shall have double swing-out doors for
ease of access. The doors will have ventilation panels of louvered metal installed as required to move air
over and around the generator, away from air inlets, and meeting manufacturer’s requirements. The
generator compartment must be insulated to maximum possible for elimination of heat, noise, and
fumes to the coach area through walls and/or flooring without interfering with necessary airflow.

Insulation will surround all possible areas of the generator compartment. The latches will be locking Tri-
Mark latches, keyed alike.

GENERATOR CONTROLS
Generator start, water and oil meter, stop preheat switch and hour meter shall be located in the front
interior of vehicle.

GPS
Garmin dēzl 560 LMT GPS system, or equal, shall be installed on dash and will come with lifetime maps
and traffic included. Trucking routes for lower 48 states and Canada, truck-specific points of interest,
IFTA fuel logging capability, tracks drivetime and provides HOS notifications, preloaded NTTS Breakdown
Directory, extensive exit services list (including food, lodging and rest areas), preloaded street maps for
North America, lane assist, free lifetime maps and traffic, Bluetooth® wireless, customizable main menu,
speaks street names, Where am I?, photo navigation.

HVAC
Air Conditioning:
Four (4) 15,000 BTU roof mounted Coleman air conditioners, 110 volt. Roof section to be reinforced
where air conditioners are to be mounted. All rooms shall be ducted AC. (No Exceptions)

Heaters:
Four (4) Electric fan forced air heaters with variable control 1500 watts. Each heater shall have separate
wall mounted controller.

Thermostat:
One (1) zoned thermostat for AC Systems. Heaters shall be controlled with individual wall mount
thermostats.

Chassis Air Conditioning:
Chassis AC system shall be provided and installed in cab area, capable of maintaining a comfortable
temperature without use of generator powered HVAC.

LAYOUT
OPERATOR AREA
Front/cab area of vehicle will have driver and passenger seats, with the following additional features:
    • Workstation with overhead cabinet located directly behind driver seat. Steno chair with bungee
        securing and under cabinet light.
    • Fabric covered cork shall cover surface in front of desk and all upper cabinets shall be covered in
        dry erase laminate.
    • 22” monitor as mentioned above will be located here along with controls for mast mounted
        camera.
    • Connections shall be included for 120v, 12vdc, and CAT6
    • Galley will be located across from the workstation and will have the following appliances:
            o 3.6 cubic foot refrigerator
            o 1.2 cubic foot microwave
            o Space Saver coffee maker

TESTING AREA
This area to be separated on each end by sliding pocket door between the operator area and testing
room. Driver side and passenger side shall have flat floor slide-outs with the following items installed:
    • Three (3) breath testing (BT) stations inclusive of workstation with overhead cabinet and bungee

secured steno chairs. Each BT machine must have connection to inverter protected power
        source to prevent surges/power drops during testing process.
    •   Vertical (wall mounted) forms holder shall be installed at each station.
    •   Fabric covered cork shall cover surface in front of desk and all upper cabinets shall be covered in
        dry erase laminate.
    •   Bench seats shall be plastic molded prisoner type seat installed on a diamond tread plate box
        structure with handcuff bar at base of bench or in location pre-determined and acceptable to
        NC Forensic Test for Alcohol.
    •   One (1) 22” LED TV shall be installed in each of the slide-outs, located above center most
        defendant bench seat back.

One (1) floor-to-ceiling storage cabinet will be installed by rear entry door.

RESTROOM
   • Incinolet Toilet
   • 12v Exhaust Vent
   • Toilet Paper Dispenser
   • Paper Towel Dispenser
   • Hand Soap Dispenser
   • Base Cabinet with 8 qt. round sink
   • Two (2) under-cabinet tanks (10 Gallon Fresh/10 Gallon Black)
   • Hand Pump faucet

DRE AREA
The DRE area, closest to the testing room will be designed with bench seats (constructed same as for
testing area) for defendants to sit prior to going before the magistrate but will also be able to serve as a
testing room for DRE’s. It will have a removable table which can be installed in front of the driver side
bench when utilized for DRE but otherwise stowed when not in use. Also included in the room will be a
red/white LED and a separate pinpoint red LED in the ceiling area.

MAGISTRATE’S OFFICE
The rear most area will be an enclosed office for magistrate and pocket door shall have slide window to
allow communication between defendant and judge. Additional features of this room shall include:
    • Large U-Shaped desk with connections for CAT6, 120v and 12vdc
    • Overhead cabinets around the perimeter of the room and LED under cabinet task lighting
    • Two (2) steno chairs with bungee securing for transport.

LEVELING
Vehicle shall have HWH leveling system with one-touch leveling and stabilization functionality, switch
located in cab above driver.

LIGHTING, INTERIOR
Eight (8) interior red/white 12v LED puck lights will be installed on the interior of the vehicle underneath
workstation cabinets to allow for ample lighting in both day and night time deployments.

Eleven (11) recessed red/white 12V LED lights to be installed in the ceiling area of vehicle to provide for
non-generator powered lighting

One (1) pinpoint red LED installed in DRE area, ceiling mounted above removable table location.

One (1) Hella LED interior light mount beneath the dash with door pressure switch activation

Vendor will include recessed 110-volt double tube fluorescent light fixtures installed the full length of
both sides of the ceiling. Interior design could alter the amount or location of lights. Wall switch located
in each room.

LIGHTING, EXTERIOR
Eight (8) Whelen Series 810CA0ZR, or equal, Surface mount Scene Lights will be mounted on the exterior
of the vehicle, three (3) on the curbside, three (3) on the street side and two (2) on rear.

Six (6) Whelen 900 Series, or equal, Super-LED emergency lights, two (2) each on the curbside, street
side and rear of vehicle, respectively

Four (4) Whelen 700 Series, or equal, Super LED emergency lights, two (2) high on brow above
windshield and two (2) below windshield

Wig-wag flashers for both headlights and taillights

LED strip lighting installed on the underside of both slide-outs.

One (1) multi-plexed light control system for all emergency lights and other 12v systems as determined
by final engineered design.

Whelen TAL85 arrow stick with control head installed on rear of vehicle, mounted high above back-up
camera or where most visible to oncoming traffic.

Hella 550, or equal, Fog Lamps installed underneath front bumper and activated by multi-plex system.

Exterior storage compartments shall have door activated LED compartment lights.

LIGHT TOWER
One (1) Will Burt Night Scan Light Tower model #NS4.5-9000, or equal, shall be installed on roof of the
vehicle. This system shall include 6-1500-Watt light heads. The system shall be folding unit which rises to
15 ft. and has collapsible capability so light package will stow flat on the roof. A remote quick disconnect
joystick controller, warning indicator and system interlock will be provided and shall prevent the vehicle
from moving while light tower is deployed. Light mast control shall be located in an exterior storage
compartment

PRINTER
One (1) Wireless Printer shall be provided and installed in magistrate’s office.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT
One (1) back-up alarm
One (1) each smoke and carbon monoxide detector shall be installed according to final floor plan.
One (1) 5 lb. fire extinguisher
One (1) first aid kit
One (1) set of reflective triangles
One (1) set of dual Grover air horns with foot switch
One (1) alarm system with trigger sensors on all three (3) entry doors, exterior TV compartment and two
(2) motion sensors located inside the vehicle.

SHORELINE
There shall be a heavy duty 120/240-volt, 50 amp. 100’ shore line cord on Hanney, or equal, electric
reel.

SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
Vehicle shall have a rear mounted mast - Will-Burt 8-30, or equal, Heavy duty Mast for surveillance
camera installation. Mast shall be 8’ stow height/30’ deployed and have the following camera mounted
on top:

Telpix PTZ, or equal, camera system with 2.5” LCD display controller. All wiring for camera will be pre-
routed by Will-Burt on the interior of the mast, thus eliminating the need for exterior Nycoil.

TOWING
Class IV hitch with electric connections, 2” ball and receiver shall be installed.

WALLS
Install pre-laminated panels to the walls, screws will be exposed and spaced every 16". All trim shall be
brushed aluminum/stainless.

WARRANTY
1-year limited warranty/unlimited miles on all conversion completed by vendor. Other warranties as
determined by manufacturer’s specifications.

WINDOWS COVERINGS
Six (6) windows shall be installed, locations to be determined upon final award.

Window shades shall be installed on all windows and windshield. Color to be chosen by customer.
