          WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of Bowls New Zealand, I extend a warm
welcome to all teams representing their clubs at the
finals of the National Interclub Competition in Wellington.

This event has two Divisions - Division One and
Division Two.

After consultation last year the competition has
reverted to Regional Qualifying and the Regions have
played off to decide who will represent their club and
Centre at these finals.

To the host club, Naenae, thank you and all of your
members, green staff, volunteers, markers, umpires,
recorders and other officials whose contribution are such a
large part of this tournament.

To all the players: good bowling, represent your club & centre
with pride, play hard but fair, enjoy the camaraderie and competition. On completion
travel home safely and enjoy the rest of the season.
