3Deactivation of the SARS-COV-2 virus
Tested by San Raffaele Hospital
The patented KtV filter was tested by Dr Elisa Vicenzi, Director of the Viral Pathogenesis and Biosecurity
Unit at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.
A liquid solution test was carried out to verify virus inactivation after treatment with the KtV filter at four-
time intervals (10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes).

The Italian Society of Environmental Medicine has
always fought to verify that communications about
products that reduce pollutants are true.
For this reason, it only grants its "SIMA VERIFIED"
mark to companies that submit their products to
scientific validation by a third-party public body.
SIMA has verified the test carried out at the
San Raffaele hospital in relation to its ability to
inactivate the Sars-Cov-2 virus and has deemed
the KTV filter worthy of its SIMA VERIFIED
mark.

The device used for the test has been produced by the Gebze University and it is based on the
PATENTED NANOHUB filtration system KtV (Kill The Virus) filter.
This photocatalyst filter is inverted and sealed on fabrics that have been contaminated.
The scope of the test was to verify the efficacy of the NANOHUB technology against bacteria
and viruses on surfaces and fabrics over a period of time in an interval of 1,3,5 hours.

The test was carried out at Gebze Technical University
Environmental Engineering Biotechnology Laboratory Gebze/Kocaeli
RESULT
The lethal effect of KTV filter on bacteria and viruses on the surface of the fabric is 72,57% on bacteria and 31,4%
on virus after 3 hours.
After 5 hours bacteria and virus have almost disappeared: 99,92% and 98,13% killing rate.

6Quality of life for drivers
tested by Insubria University
Indoor pollution is responsible for 2.7% of the global disease burden in the world.
Focusing on vehicles, the air inside car can be qualitatively 15 times worse than the one outside.
- For this test it has been selected a group of professional drivers that spend 40%/50% of their
day in the car and their nasal cytology samples have been collected.
- Then an air purification system with KtV filter was installed on the vehicle of all patients.
- After three months, the patients underwent a new sample for nasal cytology.

12TEST RESULTS on VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCs) in Teuliè School
Teuliè Military School in Milan chose NANOHUB Levante 250 to improve the air quality inside
its classrooms .
The of VOC has been constantly checked with an Aircare device from Harpa Italia.
VOCs are chemical compounds characterized by
volatility (the ability to evaporate easily in the air
at room temperature).
They can be of natural, man-made or mixed origin
and can cause short and long term damage to
human health.
VOCs are consistently higher indoors, often up to
10 times higher, than those measured outdoors.
The VOC remained always low and below the warning levels: 58 ppb.
The only picks detected were due to opened windows and sanitizers switch off, proving that
outdoor air can be worse then indoor one due to pollution up to 5 –10 times.

School, Riesa (DE)
Trinitatis Schule has been the first school in
Germany to install NANOHUB devices, to
protect its little students during the lessons.
14Istituto Schiaparelli-Gramsci
School, Milan (MI)
NANOHUB in collaboration with “Metropolitan City department of Milan” launched a pilot project
to check the effect of sanitizing appliances in the school.

protocol to collaborate for a safe learning
environment with a good air quality.
The school positioned Levante 250 in 10
classrooms and committed itself in incorporating
air quality and biosafety issues into teaching

School has been the first high school in Veneto to

In order to evaluate the impact on air quality, a sampling and analysis of the bacterial and fungal load was
carried out inside the Milan branch of Banco di Desio e della Brianza.
The air quality was measured first without the NANOHUB devices, and after one week of sanitization with 8
NANOHUB devices in 3 different environments: the central area, the director's office and the consulting
office.
Reductions ranging from 50% to 80% for bacterial load
and from 23% to 73% for fungal load (see next slide for details).

Tests carried out in the Fruit&Vegetables Sector
Air samplings were conducted in 6 supermarket branches
of the above-mentioned fruit & vegetables chains.
NANOHUB devices have allowed to obtain a
reduction in the presence of ethylene in the fruit and
vegetable department of supermarkets, showing
significant benefits in terms of conservation and
shelf-life of fruits and vegetables.

In three different stores, the presence of ethylene was detected using Syft-MS
(Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectometry) technology, which is able, through a
continuous process, to identify and quantify the volatile organic substances present
in the environment.

80% reduction in ethylene presence

38Effects of KtV filter treatment on kiwi and lemon
Supermarket, ITALY
After 2 months of treatment in De Rigo fridge, the skin of the fruit stored with the photocatalytic
filter is still in excellent condition, while where the filter was not present the skin is dried-up and
holey. The difference is also evident inside: kiwi fruit stored without the filter is overripe,
yellow/brown in colour and no longer edible.
The KtV filter allows significant savings in the handling of fruit and vegetables, prolonging their
shelf-life and allowing the goods to be left in the refrigerated counters
without having to move them to the cold rooms during shop closing hours.

The innovation of the patented ETRA lies in
the integration of the photocatalytic
technology based on Tungsten trioxide and
white LED light in the air conditioning and
ventilation systems, both absolutely not
harmful to humans.
The ETRA system, installed inside the
intake/recirculation compartment, uses,
without interfering, the power of the air
conditioning system of the bus itself and
therefore guarantees that all the air inside is
completely and continuously sanitised, unlike
other systems simply applied inside the bus
and self-powered by small motors and fans.
