How to Make Struffoli Steps
 1.   This is a family tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation.   I hope you enjoy the treat!
 2.   Let the butter soften 30 minutes into the oven turned off with the light on, then cut it into pieces and stir with
      a fork until smooth and inflated.
 3.   After that, grate the lemon and orange to obtain zests.
 4.   Now, crack the eggs and pour them into a bowl along with the sugar, the softened butter, the lemon and orange
      zests, 2 drops of Rum or Brandy, 1 drop of Anise flavor, and 1 pinch of salt.
 5.   Finally, whisk until consistent.
 6.   Add the flour, a little at a time into the butter and eggs mixture.
 7.   Pouring the flour, pinch the dough with your fingers until the liquid will be absorbed by the flour, creating a
      sort of pastry crumbs.
 8.   Now, compact and stretch out the crumbs until obtaining a consistent dough.
 9.   Eventually, wrap the dough and store into the lower part of the fridge at least 2 hours.
10.   Take a fistful of dough and roll it into a log 1/2 inch thick.
11.   Now, reduce the log into pieces 1/2 inch long. After that, pour the sesame oil into a pot and place over medium
      heat until reach 356° F (180° C).
12.   Eventually, fry the Struffoli a little at a time until golden, then place on paper towels to dry the oil in excess.
13.   Pour the honey into a nonstick pan, big enough to contain Struffoli.
14.   Place the pan over low heat and stir until fluid.
15.   Finally, place the pan far from the heat and add Struffoli and sweet decorations.
16.   It is possible to serve Struffoli just prepared, but the following days they will be even more delicious!

#1 - How to make coconut jaggery stuffed flatbread (kayi obbattu) steps
Coconut Jaggery stuffed Flatbread (kayi obbattu) is a traditional sweet made during festivals and enjoyed by the family. The recipe has
been passed on from generations by our ancestors. We come from a region where a lot of sugarcane plants, coconut trees grow. (Jaggery is
unrefined sugar extracted from the sugarcane). That explains why they made this sweet.

 1.    First, take a mixing bowl and add all purpose flour and fine sooji and 1 tsp of turmeric powder and a pinch of salt.
 2.    Next, mix them up by adding water little by little and make a soft dough.
 3.    Then, add 1 tb of oil and knead the dough, add the remaining oil on top of the mixture cover it and keep it aside for 30 mins.
 4.    Next,switch on the stove and place a thick bottom pan and add 2 cups of crushed/powdered jaggery and quarter cup of water to it
       and bring it to boil.
 5.    Then, when the jaggery is completely dissolved, add the 2 cups of fresh grated coconut and mix it well.
 6.    Next, cook this mixture on a medium flame until all the moisture from the coconut evaporates.
 7.    Use a blender and make a powder of poppy seeds, roasted split chana dal and peeled cardamom seeds, add this powder on top of the
       sweet mixture,mix it thoroughly and switch off the stove.
 8.    Now let the mixture cool down completely, the mixture thickens as it cools.
 9.    Next, smear your hands with some ghee and make small lemon sized balls from the cooled coconut jaggery mixture and keep them
       aside.
10.    Then, make small balls out of the all purpose flour mixture as well.
11.    Next, spread the all purpose flour mixture in your hands and place the coconut jaggery ball in the middle and cover it from all
       sides to from a stuffed ball.
12.    Then, use a rolling pin and a board, dust the board with the flour and roll this stuffed ball into a flat bread.
13.    Next, place a griddle on the stove and let it get heated, place this flat bread on hot griddle, flip it after a minute and cook
       it on both sides, smear some ghee on either sides while cooking.
14.    Finally, repeat the above steps for the remaining mixture and our Coconut Jaggery Stuffed Flatbreads (Kayi Obbattus) are ready!!!
15.    Once completely cooled, this sweet can be stored in an airtight box and enjoyed for upto a week without refrigeration.

#2 - Steps
 1.   Gulab Jamun is Indian sweet made during special occasion and festival
      time.
 2.   First take a bowl and put instant mix pack size 3.5oz Gulab Jamun.
 3.   Add (50ml milk into Gulab Jamun mix it together and make a dough.
 4.   Apply a small amount of ghee to your palms and prepare round balls.
 5.   To prepare sugar syrup take 300ml of water and set stove on medium heat.
 6.   Take 1 cup(300g) sugar and add into boiling water.
 7.   Boil the water until 5 minutes and add cardamom and saffron into the sugar
      syrup.
 8.   In frying pan add about 4 tablespoon of Ghee and set on stove on low heat.
 9.   Place round balls into frying pan, fry it until become golden brown.
10.   Soak balls (Jamuns) in hot sugar syrup for 30 to 35 minutes.
11.   Once it cool down little bit it ready to serve.

# 3 - Steps
      How to make an egg dosa

1.    Add 3 cups of rice, 1 cup of urad dhal and a teaspoon of fenugreek seed in a
      large bowl.
2.    Rinse them and soak about 5 to 6 hours.
3.    Drain the water and transfer everything to a speed blender.
4.    Add 3 cups of water,a tablespoon of salt and start grinding to make the batter
      to a pan cake batter consistency.
5.    Ferment the batter until it gets double in size.
6.    Mix the batter with a ladle.
7.    Heat a dosa pan, grease it and pour a ladle of batter on the pan and spread it
      to make a round shape.
8.    Break an egg and pour it on the batter.
9.    Add a teaspoon of oil on the edges and flip the dosa after a   minute.
10.   Now the dosa is removed from the pan and is ready to serve.

#4 - Steps For Making Masala Puffed Rice (Borugulu)
Hello today I am going to teach you how to make Masala puffed rice.

1. Take a big wide pan and place it on the stove. Pour the oil in the pan and heat oil
on medium flame.

2. Add mustard seeds and wait until the seeds POP!

3. Now it’s time to add peanuts! Please do not burn the peanuts. Be very careful.
(This is optional. If you are allergic you can skip this step.)

4. Add the daliya, garlic, curry leaves, hing, chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Fry
for a few minutes.

5. Finally, add the puffed rice and salt. Mix ingredients together until the puffed
rice is well coated with the spices.

6. Time to Eat! Mouthwatering Masala Puffed rice. Let it cool down and store in an
airtight container. ENJOY!

#5 - How to make puri(Fried indian bread)
Puri has been our favorite family dish as it is so versatile that it can be had for any
meal,usually made during all indian festivals and weddings. It is crispy,puffy and soft.

1.   First take one cup of wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add ½ teaspoon of salt to the
     flour and mix.
2.   Then add little water at a time and knead the dough into a soft and stiff consistency.
3.   Cover the dough and rest it for 15 mins.
4.   Now take the dough and make 10 equal portions and make smooth round balls.
5.   Next take a rolling pin and place the dough ball on the rolling board flattening into
     a flat disc shape.
6.   Meanwhile heat the oil in a pan, Take the prepared puri and fry it in the oil. Give it
     a gentle press in the oil so that it puffs up right away. Flip the puri and fry on the
     next side.
7.   Remove it with a spatula and place the puri on the paper towel to remove excess oil.
     Repeat the same for the rest of the puris.
8.   Serve it with any vegetable or meat curry.

   together and pour in the pan

     so. First go to your local store and buy any cornbread mix
     but i prefer betty cracker.
2.   Next put the cornbread mix in the big bowl.
3.   Then get one egg that is crack and put it in the milk.
4.   Four put the stick of butter and put in the oven and let it
     melt.
5.   Five when everything is done put the sugar,milk,eggs,butter,
     baking soda in the bowl and mix it.
6.   Then when you done mixing it put it in the glass pan and set
     your oven to 350 degrees and wait for 30 minutes
7.   Last let it cool off then “enjoy it”!

#8 - How To Bake Banana Bread: Steps
This is a family tradition passed from my grandmother to my mother and now to me. We bake banana bread during holiday season like
thanksgiving and christmas.

 1.    Heat the oven to 350 F and prepare the pan .Line the loaf pan with parchment paper. Spray the inside with cooking spray.
 2.    Melt the butter in the microwave.
 3.    Combine the butter and the sugar-Place the melted butter and sugar in a large bowl and whisk until combined.
 4.    Crack the eggs into the bowl. Whisk until completely combined and the mixture is smooth.
 5.    Add milk and vanilla- Whisk the milk and vanilla into the batter.
 6.    Mash the bananas- Peel the bananas and mash them on a plate. Now add, the mashed bananas into the batter.
 7.    Add the flour, baking soda, and salt into the bowl. Using a spatula gently stir until the ingredients are combined and no more dry
       flour is visible.
 8.    Last but not least, scatter the nuts or chocolate over the batter and gently mix.
 9.    Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top of the batter.
10.    Bake banana bread for 50 to 65 minutes.
11.    Let it cool down in the pan for 10 minutes.
12.    Grasping the parchment paper, lift the loaf out of the pan and place on the cooling rack. Cool for another 10 minutes before slicing.
13.    Finally, slice the banana bread evenly and serve with fruits and yogurt for breakfast during the holiday season. Enjoy the rich taste
       of banana bread with your friends and family..

1.   In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: all purpose flour, rolled oats ,
     Baking powder, Baking soda, cinnamon,ginger, and cardamom. Mix well.
2.   In a measuring cup, combine all wet ingredients: Milk, yogurt, honey, eggs,
     vanilla. Whisk together.
3.   Add wet ingredients to the mixing bowl. Use the whisk to mix together the
     ingredients until the batter is formed. Do not over-Mix
4.   Fold in the butter.
5.   Turn on the waffle iron to medium high. Once it is hot, carefully grease the
     waffle iron with vegetable oil or non-stick spray. You will need to grease
     waffle iron after each waffle.
6.   Carefully pour ¾ cup of batter into the hot waffle iron. Close the lid.
7.   Cook for 5 minutes or until it stops steaming. Remove waffles and then put it
     on a clean plate.
8.   Repeat steps 5 to 7 until you use up all the batter.

9.   EAT THE WAFFLES!

      Today we are going to be making a Nigerian dish called Jollof Rice.

     1.     Heat oil in a medium saucepan or pot over medium-high heat.
     2.     Next add onions and thyme, cook for about 2 minutes or until onion becomes soft and
            translucent.
     3.     Add rice, season with, bouillon, salt, and pepper.
     4.     Cook stirring often until fragrant, for about 30 seconds and brown, stirring occasionally,
            for about 2-3 minutes.
     5.     Pour tomatoes sauce, chicken broth, and hot pepper, if using any into a saucepan.
     6.     Bring to a boil stirring once or twice. Reduce heat to low, cover saucepan and simmer
            until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, for 15-18 minutes.
     7.     Remove pan from heat, let it sit covered for 5 minutes then fluff rice with a fork or
            serving spoon. Then throw in sauteed veggies and/or beef, chicken, shrimp and mix, if
            desired
     8.     Garnish with parsley and serve.

          Jollof rice can be served with fried plantains. Hope you enjoy this Nigerian dish.

#12 - How to make Kansar Ladoo Steps
This sweet dessert dish is named Kansar Ladoo. Traditionally, my family
serves this sweet dessert dish on birthdays and any major personal successes.

1.   First, put 1 steel bowl on the stove and start to heat it up.
2.   Next, put a cup of water in the steel bowl.
3.   Then, boil the water and add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
4.   After that, take another steel bowl and add ½ cup of whole wheat flour and
     the 2 tablespoons of oil.
5.   Next, mix together the whole wheat flour and oil and pour this into the
     hot water and stir it all together with a fork.
6.   Then, cover it and let it cook for five minutes.
7.   Finally, turn off the stove and serve after ten minutes with melted
     butter.
8.   To make it even more delicious, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top
     with the melted butter.

My mom makes this every year for our family on Christmas day. This is our family tradition. I hope

How to Make a Veggie Christmas Tree

1.    Turn on the oven to 375 degrees
2.    Remove the dough from the can
3.    Cut the dough to 8 sections
4.    Put oil on the tray and spread it with a brush
5.    Then put all the cut dough on the tray facing down
6.    Bake it for 10 min in the oven
7.    Then you will remove it from the oven and let it cool down
8.    In a mixing bowl mix the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder until it is smooth
9.    To make the tree take one roll place it on the top then under that roll put 2 rolls and under
      that row put 3 rolls and keep doing that until you end up with 5 rolls
10.   Then the extra slices you will put it on the bottom of the row to make a trunk.
11.   Then you spread the mixture of the cream cheese and spread it all over the rolls
12.   Last you add all the chop veggies and decorate the tree

●   Oven gloves    ●   Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
●   Baking tray    ●   Red chilli powder-½ tsp
                   ●   Black pepper powder-½ tsp
                   ●   Turmeric powder-¼ tsp
                   ●   Plain yogurt-2 tbsp
                   ●   Curry leaves-1 sprig
                   ●   Salt to taste
                   ●   Cumin seeds- ½ tsp

                   ●   Oil for shallow frying
#15 Chicken 65 puffs - Steps
1.   Chicken 65 is a very famous South Indian appetizer. Hope you enjoy the appetizer I
     made using it by stuffing it into pastry sheets.
2.   Clean and chop the chicken into 1 inch cubes.
3.   Next, in a mixing bowl add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper
     powder, turmeric powder, plain yogurt and salt. Mix and taste it. Add more salt if
     needed.
4.   Then stir in the cubed boneless chicken. Mix well. Set aside for at least 45 minutes
     to 1 hour for it to marinate.
5.   Now add the egg white and the rice flour to the marinade.
6.   Heat oil in pan. Add the cumin seeds and the curry leaves. Then add in the chicken
     pieces. Shallow fry the chicken until crisp and fully cooked. With this the filling is
     ready.
7.   Now, cut each puff pastry sheet into three parts. Fill each one with the above made
     chicken 65 and fold into your desired shape.
8.   Bake the puffs at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10-12 minutes, until they are nice
     and golden brown.
9.   Enjoy eating the chicken 65 puffs while still warm from the inside and crunchy on the
     outside.

How to make sweet rice : steps
 1.   Today I will be telling you how to make a traditional dish (Sweet Rice) that my family
      makes every Sunday.
 2.   Take 1 TBSP of rice.
 3.   Wash the rice and soak it in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.
 4.   Take a pot and pour 1 cup of milk.
 5.   Boil milk for 10 minutes.
 6.   Take water out from the soaked rice and put rice in boiled milk.
 7.   Let the rice get cooked in milk for 10 minutes and keep stirring.
 8.   Once the rice is cooked, then add 3 TBSP of Sugar in pot keep stirring.
 9.   Let sugar dissolve completely.
10.   Now, add 1/4 TBSP of saffron, nutmeg and cardamom in Sweet rice.
11.   Stir the mixture and let it cook for 2 minutes.
12.   Let it cool down for 5 minutes before serving it.
13.   Take sweet rice in the serving bowl and garnish it with chopped almond, cashew and
      pistachio.
14.   Now the sweet rice is ready to eat and enjoy!!!

#17 - How to make Christmas cookies Steps
  It is a tradition for our family to decorate and leave Christmas cookies under the Christmas tree for Santa to come and eat.

 1.   First get the bowl.
 2.   Next put the butter in the bowl.
 3.   After put 1 ½ cups of white sugar in the bowl.
 4.   Then mix it together.
 5.   Put 1 egg in the bowl.
 6.   After put in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
 7.   Then get a seperate bowl and put all the dry ingredients in the bowl.
 8.   After put it in the first bowl and mix it together.
 9.   Last wrap the dough in parchment paper and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
10.   After preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
11.   Then prepare your tray with parchment paper.
12.   Next take the dough out of the refrigerator and flatten it on a floured parchment paper.
13.   After it is flat make shapes with cookie cutters.
14.   Then put the cookies on the tray.
15.   If you are using sprinkles add them on the cookies.
16.   Then put the tray in the oven.
17.   Last take it with oven mitts and let it cool.
18.   Finally enjoy and leave some for Santa.
19.   You can freeze extra dough to use later.

1. Soak tamarind in water.After 10 minutes, squeeze and make
   tamarind juice.
2. Cut coconut, mango and banana into small pieces.
3. Add Jaggery powder,banana pieces, mango pieces, coconut
   pieces, pinch of salt,chilly powder,neem flower into the
   tamarind juice.
4. Mix well.
5. Enjoy.
6. Don’t eat too much. Tamarind juice can upset your tummy
   and you might have to take trips to restroom.

#19 - How to make Black gram fritters (vadai)
Black gram fritters (vadai in Tamil) is a family/culture traditional food made
during festival time and served to god and enjoyed with family on a banana leaf.

1.   Soak the black gram for 30 minutes.
2.   In the meantime chop green chilies, ginger, onion and curry leaves finely and set
     aside.
3.   In a food processor grind the soaked black gram into fine paste with ½ cup of water.
     Batter should be thick; you should be able to make small balls with them.
4.   Add salt, chopped green chilies, ginger , onion and curry leaves and mix everything so
     that all the ingredients get combined well with the batter.
5.   Heat 4 cups of oil in a thick bottomed pan, when it reaches 350 F; slowly add donut
     shaped urad dal dough. (On your wet palm or Ziploc bag, place a round ball of dough,
     slightly flatten to form the thick disc and a use your finger to create hole in the
     center to form the shape of doughnut). Fry them by flipping them a few times for about
     8 minutes or until they reach golden brown color. You will be able to fry 3 or 4 at a
     time.
6.   Drain them using a slotted spoon into a kitchen towel to remove extra oil.
7.   Serve it on a banana leaf.

#21 - How To MaKe Kheer pudding
1.   This is a recipe that has been passed down from our ancestors. We make this

     delicious dish for many festivals. Hope you will like it!
2.   First, soak half a cup of Tapioca sago in water for at least 15 minutes. Then
     put sago in the cooker and add 5 cups of milk to it.
3.   Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes.
4.   Next, while that is cooking, fry some cashews and raisins in butter.
5.   After the sago is cooked, add jaggery, half cup of vermicelli, little cardamom
     powder, fried nuts to it and keep stirring until the vermicelli is well
     cooked.
6.   Finally, let the dish cool and serve it!

#22 - My family’s Chicken 65 Recipe
1.   First get the chicken,wash it and drain it.
2.   Second get a large bowl and put all the ingredients in the large
     bowl except the chicken and mix all the ingredients in the bowl.
3.   Third put the chicken into the mixture of all the
     ingredients,then coat the mixture on the chicken,then marinate
     the chicken and let it sit in the fridge for minimum 2 hours to
     overnight.
4.   Fourth heat the pan and put oil in it over medium flame.Once the
     oil is sufficiently hot,then carefully put the marinated chicken
     pieces in the oil,then fry them until it cooks.
5.   Fifth take the chicken out of the pan with the oil skimmer and
     serve it,you can enjoy chicken 65 with Ketchup,chipotle
     sauce,onions or spring onions.

This is a family tradition that has been passed down from our ancestors.
We make these laddus during festivals like Diwali where we serve sweets
to one another. Below are the steps for making yummy laddus.

1.   Take the peanuts and put them in a pan.
2.   Roast all of the peanuts on the stove at medium heat.
3.   After the peanuts have been roasted, let them cool down.
4.   Remove the shell from the peanuts.
5.   After removing the shells, grind the peanuts into a nice smooth
     flour.
6.   Next, take another bowl and mix the powdered sugar, clarified-fried
     butter and the peanut flour and roll the mixture into nice little
     balls and the laddus are ready.

#24 - Steps to make lemon rice
1.   Wash 1 cup of rice and add 2 cups of water in the rice.Then put
     it all in the cooker and let it cook!
2.   Once the rice is cooked cool it completely.
3.   Take a pan and on medium heat and add vegetable oil and roast
     peanuts until they become crispy.
4.   Next add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal and wait until
     it turns light brown.
5.   Add curry leaves, ginger, green chillies,and red chillies. Fry
     them for about 30 seconds until you smell the ginger and curry
     leaves.
6.   Then add hing,salt, turmeric, and stir.
7.   Remove from stove and add to the rice that we left to cool.
8.   Now, you can enjoy your yummy lemon rice.

#25 - Steps for Mini Pumpkin Pies
1.   Open the pumpkin pie filling can and put in a mixing bowl
2.   Add eggs, condensed milk
3.   Add spices and sugar
4.   Whisk together well
5.   Preheat oven to 350 degrees
6.   Pour pie filling into mini crusts
7.   Bake for 30 minutes or until middle is done
8.   Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
